Never trust an employee with headset compatibility questions. I was sold a headset an employee guaranteed worked on my PlayStation. It ended up being a model specifically designed to NOT work with the console and only for Xbox. When I brought it back they gave me attitude since the headset was opened and they told me they could only return or exchange if it was defective. I called Amex right in front of them and Amex instantly approved my chargeback. Disgusting behaviour on Best Buy’s part. Enjoy the chargeback hit.
bestbuy in general hasn't been the same for awhile now. Product quality and service plummeted so, I avoid as much as I can. I needed a phone for my daughter's birthday gift and came to this one as it's close to my office and no rep was available. At one point, 2 reps were with one customer. I decided to walk around a bit to waste time but it was just useless and I left. I ended up going directly to the mobile company shop and got what I needed.

If I could give this store 10 stars, I would! Mohsin is the person to see, he is always incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and responsive to any questions I have. The entire staff (Parth) is friendly, welcoming, and genuinely eager to help. It’s refreshing to walk into a store where everyone greets you with a smile and goes out of their way to provide excellent customer service, something that’s becoming harder to find these days.
Every visit has been a great experience, and I keep coming back for advice and support both before and after my purchases. A big thank you to Mohsin, Angela, Parth and the entire Best Buy team for consistently delivering outstanding service. Highly recommended!
Worst customer service experience. My recent visit to the Best Buy Oakville store was deeply disappointing. From the moment we walked in, there was absolutely no greeting. Instead of being helped, we were actively ignored, judged based on our appearance, and subjected to clear discrimination.
While we were looking to purchase a MacBook, the managers were busy standing around gossiping in Laptops section. They showed zero interest in helping us. We ultimately decided to take our business elsewhere and will never buy from this location again. Pathetic service and terrible management. Avoid this store.

Terrible customer service – completely ignored by staff
I spent $700 out of pocket at this location, and the level of customer service was non-existent. From the moment my friend and I walked in, not a single employee greeted us, acknowledged our presence, or offered to help.
I walked through the entire store looking for assistance, and it felt like nobody wanted to work. Employees actively avoided eye contact and offered zero support, despite us being ready to make a major purchase. If you are going to spend hundreds of dollars, go somewhere where your business is actually valued. Management seriously needs to address the lack of work ethic and customer care at this location. Highly disappointed.
