Had a great experience at East Side Mario’s! Mike provided excellent service — he was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our visit. The food was amazing, especially considering the value. Great portions, good quality, and a really enjoyable overall experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!

This was our very first time visiting East Side Mario’s, and it absolutely exceeded our expectations! The food was extraordinarily fantastic and cooked to perfection. We also loved the vibrant, welcoming ambience and how friendly the entire team was.A huge, special thank you to Nicki, who took care of us during our meal. Nicki provided amazing, attentive service and truly made our first visit memorable. We will definitely be back!
Nicky was amazing, she was so on top of things, made sure that everything was taken care of and most importantly she was super fun to talk with! The food was hot and fresh, portions were great too, we brought our meals home and didn't leave hungry. My boyfriend loved the size of the cheesecake.
We had such a great time, we're looking forward to our next visit!
Priceless mother-daughter evening ❤️🍝
My daughter and I went to East Side Mario’s for a mother-daughter evening out, and it honestly turned into one of those simple, perfect memories.
We asked for the drink menu… but let’s be real, what we were actually aiming for were the cool kids’ drinks. So yes, we both got one. Hahaha.
We are both high-energy ADHD, so basically double the trouble, and our server Alex matched our energy perfectly. He was friendly, funny, easygoing, and handled the drinks, food orders, and patio service like a pro.
The patio atmosphere was beautiful — sunshine, open air, and that relaxed restaurant vibe that makes you want to stay a little longer. We also heard Alex speaking French and found out he grew up and went to the same school I did… except I graduated the year he was born. Hahaha.
The owner also came by to check that our meal and service were good, and we even caught him teasing Alex, which was hilarious. It was really nice to see such a great relationship between the owner and the staff — and even better to see the owner jumping in and serving tables himself.
And of course, the food was amazing too. Everything from beginning to end — the meal, the atmosphere, Alex, and meeting the owner — made the evening wonderful.
My evening with my daughter? Priceless. ❤️
This is the only review you need.
We were the only people waiting to be seated, multiple employees passed by, many minutes go by, and one guy thought we had already been helped until we told him we had not.
We were told to sit anywhere by a different worker, so we chose a spot, even though the table hadn’t been cleaned (crumbs and empty drinks). We were waiting there for a LONG time until a server(?) came by rapidly dropping cutlery ON THE BARE DIRTY TABLE AND DROPPED NAPKINS ON TOP OF THE CUTLERY. Nothing placed, nothing together, just “a fork over here, a knife strangely over there, and oh yeah a napkin I guess” and then she scurried away never to be seen again. She even gave us two knives at first instead of a knife and a fork.
Waiting. No menus. Just waiting. For probably half an hour (it may have been longer) for someone to just give us a menu.
A different server finally gives us attention, wipes the table, takes away the old drinks, and gives us menus. Finally, maybe there’s still a chance to leave a tip.
He gets us our drink orders, one bread, and takes ours orders.
Never. To be seen. Again.
When I tell you…. We are no strangers to waiting. We’re so easy going, we don’t really care much, we’re not those type of customers. That’s how BAD this was.
An entire hour passes by. Not a drink refill, not another bread, not a starter (salad), absolutely no severs around.
By this point, they close in an hour. We would be lucky to get a drink refill and the starter salad in an additional half hour, there’s no way we’d get to the food in time.
We’ve never ever ever done this before, but we made the hard decision to leave. We got up, went to the bar, offered to pay for the one drink, and the bar tender just said “yeah you’re good” (as in we don’t have to pay). No customer service skills, not even a lazy apology, just “yeah you’re good.” Is actually crazy. And we’re fellow young people in our 20s who have worked long years in the restaurant industry.
None of this was acceptable at any point. Mind you, the entire restaurant was not busy whatsoever.
Everyone else in our area was having a bad time too. We believed a large table even walked out right before us, as they were never served either.
The table behind us had their CAA card stolen by their server! Another server told them “your server is in the kitchen right now but we have your number in case we find it” LIKE WHAT.
We’ve been here a few times before and this was actually the top worst restaurant experience we’ve ever had in our entire lives.
Sort the reviews for this location and you’ll see that this kind of service is the norm for them with zero shame.
The last time we tried to eat here before this instance, we walked in the door, they said “do you have a reservation?” (No “hello”) we looked at them confused cuz we’ve eaten there before without being greeted that way and we said uhhh no? And they said “we’re only taking reservations” and before she even finished her sentence, we turned right around and walked out. You’re rude first, I’ll be rude right back.
On that day in particular, we went to the hunt club location instead and were taken care of super well, with fantastic servers and rapid service.
AVOID THE ROBERTSON LOCATION AT ALL COSTS. I look forward to the day they have to shut down and get replaced by Olive Garden.
