  We visited East Side Mario’s for a birthday dinner and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. We were dining with three children under the age of four, so timing was especially important. We arrived well before 5 to beat the rush as we were a party of 7 . After waiting approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes, we were informed that our order had been lost and had never been entered into the system. While the staff apologized, it still took a considerable amount of time before our meals finally arrived , our salads that were offered never came . To make matters worse, all the tables around us who arrived well after we did received their food before us. By the time our meals came the birthday celebration had lost much of its enjoyment. No one even offered dessert, we had to ask for the kids ice cream and never got a chance to order dessert for the Birthday guest or others ! We understand that mistakes happen, but the lack of communication and recovery left us feeling overlooked and disappointed. We have enjoyed East Side Mario’s in the past, but this experience fell far below expectations.

  Never been here before and that should change from today on. Unlimited salad, soup and bread? Say no more, hold my beer. Everything is great, service can be slow and u need to catch the server, but with the amount of food you can get, woof I can lay my eye somewhere else.

  ​We had a fantastic experience at the Kanata East Side Mario's! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was lively, fun, and incredibly welcoming. ​The service was absolutely top-notch. Our server was attentive, super friendly, and made sure our drinks and those famous unlimited salad and warm garlic homeloaves kept coming without us even having to ask. ​For the mains, the pasta was served piping hot, flavorful, and in huge portions. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxed family dinner, a casual night out, or celebrating a milestone. If you're looking for classic Italian-American comfort food and a team that genuinely cares about your dining experience, this location delivers. We will definitely be back!

  Everything was absolutely perfect. The salmon was crispy at the bottom -not burnt and the center and top was perfectly cooked. It was tender. The pasta was also one of the best I've had. It's my second time eating here and I 100% recommend it. Their tomato soup (so far) has not disappointed me one bit. I came here with my baby and she left with a very round, full belly which is telling of the kind of food the have here, baby approved!

  Had another great experience at East Side Mario’s. The service was excellent as alway friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. Masi made sure everything was perfect, and the food came out quickly and tasted great.never had to ask for bread or refills on drinks. It’s always a pleasure dining here, and the consistently great service is one of the reasons we keep coming back. Thank you to the whole team!
