  We made a reservation for our son’s 3rd birthday. We arrived at 5:30 pm, it took 47 minutes to have our drinks served and an hour for the kids to get their food. There are many other family friendly restaurants in the area, and as such, we won’t be back.

  I visited East Side Mario’s in Kanata—crowded but lively, with a warm, upbeat vibe. The staff was friendly but a bit overwhelmed during peak hours; I had to flag down a server a couple times. The portions were huge, especially the salad and bread, which felt generous for the price. Parking was straightforward nearby. The manager was noticeable, chatting with staff and guests, which added to the welcoming feel. One small suggestion: more servers during busy times might help with the wait for orders. Still, the food and atmosphere made it worth it.

  Came with a large party on a Monday night and they were extremely accommodating. The waitress and other staff were amazing. Very attentive and took care of the family really well, especially the little ones.

  Had a great experience at East Side Mario’s! Masi was such a nice and attentive server and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. Brent, the manager, was also really friendly and welcoming. They both made the experience really enjoyable. Would definitely come back!

  Please be more careful about providing diet drinks when they are ordered. My daughter is type 1 diabetic and was given a regular Pepsi instead of diet today. I asked the waiter if it was diet and he assured me it was, yet I am nervously providing multiple corrections doses of insulin for the past hour to treat her sudden hyperglycemia.
