Cute interactive horn to announce your presence! We had a good laugh.
My husband and I came in for lunch during our vacation and were pleasantly surprised that they have a seniors menu with smaller portion options. Not only did they have a good selection on the seniors menu, but it also included the beverage and dessert, which was a scoop of ice cream.
The music wasn't too loud. My husband has hearing aids and when the music is too loud it really bothers him.
We are on vacation right now, but an East side Mario's is planning to open in St. Catharines soon. My husband is delighted because he loves Italian food.
If this is any indication of what we are looking forward to, we will be going there often!
Food and the service provided to us was really good. Our server Stella was great as she went out of her way in her service. Also, she gave her personal recommendation for food and beverage, which was amazing as we were coming here for the first time ans were little confused on what to order. We would definitely come back here in the future.

Unfortunately, the service was the worst part of the experience. While the food was fine, the attitude from staff was noticeably unfriendly and dismissive. Basic customer interactions felt like an inconvenience, and there was a lack of the professionalism and courtesy that should be expected when dining out.
Everyone has busy days, but hospitality is a core part of the restaurant experience. When customers are made to feel unwelcome or like they’re bothering the staff, it reflects poorly on the establishment.
Based on the service alone, I would think twice before returning.
I had a fantastic experience at East Side Mario’s thanks to Stella, who served me with such warmth and attentiveness. She made sure my calzone and garden salad were just perfect, checking in to see if I needed anything else without being intrusive. Stella’s friendly attitude and great service really made my meal enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back because of her!

Our experience began by the host giving us a booth and then minutes later, a different waitress came over and told us that having a highchair at this booth was a fire hazard so we either had to go without the highchair for our toddler or move, so we moved to a different table. We then sat there for 15 minutes before a waitress came to take our drink orders, (the restaurant was half empty). It took another 10 mins to get a loaf of bread which should be the first thing that comes to your table. Our appetizer was their budda boomers and they were soggy and tasted like their fryer hasn't had its oil changed in years. We got our entrees about 5 mins after our salads were served to us so the timing on everything was just completely off. Our waitress also did'nt offer us any parmesan on our entrees or ask if we needed anything either. During this entire experience, not a single dish was cleared from our table, even when we got our takeaway containers, we were clearly struggling with the lack of room on our table and our waitress just stood there, uselessly. I shouldn't have to tell you how to do your job when I'm paying for a dining experience. We love the east side mario franchise as a family but because of this restaurant's lack of trained staff and how to run a restaurant efficiently, we do not recommend anyone going to this location.
