  i had the most amazing lunch experience at this establishment today. already having a bad day i decided to treat myself to a small lunch by myself at the upper james eastside marios location, and what proceeded was unlike any dining experience i’ve ever had. my mood was also immediately uplifted by my server johnny’s beautiful spirit and charisma, alongside manners i would expect from my own children! overall this was the best tasting food, paired with the most painful belly laughs anyone could ever ask for at any eatery. i will be returning here soon… - sincerely, impressed

  I came to this fine establishment with my friends yesterday for some drinks after work, we all had a very long day. Our server, Kennedy I believe her name was, approached us with the kindest smile that seemed to have made our daily problems disappear faster than the drinks could. I entered that restaurant tired and not ready for the next work day and I left feeling like I could single-handedly carry my workplace much like she did last night. I feel like I was in the presence of server greatness, like the late Chuck Norris got reincarnated into the ideal server, like all of the stars aligned to make sure that I was right there when the universe wanted me to see a friendly face when it knew I could’ve used one. #eastsidekennedy’s

  It was a great time! Met with some work colleagues and had the privilege of Nina as our server! She was locked in & provided top tier service! We left happy! Would definitely recommend to request her as your server! 11/10 ⭐️

  I had an amazing experience thanks to Kennedy! Even during a very busy rush, she provided exceptional service and never made me feel like just another customer. She was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Kennedy made me feel welcomed like family from the moment I arrived. Her positive attitude, professionalism, and ability to stay calm under pressure were truly impressive. It’s employees like Kennedy who keep customers coming back. Thank you for making my visit so enjoyable!

  As soon as we entered, the hostess greeted us and promptly seated us. I changed my mind and requested the patio instead of dining indoors. She accommodated our request without any hesitation. Missy, our server, welcomed us warmly and was incredibly observant and helpful. Her bubbly personality made her approachable, and she asked what we were celebrating. She wished me a wonderful birthday. Missy guided us through the menu, explaining the specials and suggesting combinations to suit our preferences. She frequently checked in to ensure we were enjoying our meal. To top it off, Missy and two other staff members surprised me with a birthday song and a delicious cake, complete with ice cream, to celebrate my special day. It was an incredible surprise! We’re already looking forward to returning to East Side Mario’s to take advantage of their $5 off dinner, free appetizer, dessert, or lunch offer. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and highly recommend East Side Mario’s.
