    They charge way more duties than necessary and add a VAT on top of it, had I known these people were handling my goods I would have stopped the shipment

    Very poor service, delayed shipment, incomplete delivery, and no proper support from customer service. Not recommended for business shipments.

    This has been one of the worst delivery experiences I’ve ever had with DHL. My package was supposed to be delivered on May 12, but the driver marked it as “customer not home” even though I was home the entire day. The same thing happened again on May 13 — no delivery attempt was actually made, yet the blame was placed on me. The final delivery attempt was on May 15. The delivery window provided was between 3 PM and 5 PM, but at 1 PM I already received another notification claiming nobody was home. Again, I was home all day waiting for the package. At this point, it honestly feels like my time is not being respected and they have no clear explanation of what is happening with my shipment and when I can actually expect a real delivery to be made. Three failed “attempts” without an actual delivery is unacceptable. The tracking updates were misleading, communication was poor, and the service was extremely frustrating. DHL seriously needs to improve accountability and reliability in Canada.
