had a disappointing experience at the Best Buy store at 11 Washmill Lake Dr, Halifax. I went to purchase a laptop through Fairstone financing and clearly stated I could not afford the additional warranty the agent recommended. However, I later found separate unexpected charges, including a Geek Squad bill and another charge on the Best Buy app.
Since I couldn’t afford these costs, I canceled the purchase. I was told there might be a $19 service fee, but I was charged $246.44 instead. When I contacted customer service, I was told the refund would take two business days.
Overall, the lack of transparency and unexpected charges made this a very frustrating experience, and I would not recommend it.

The staff here were very helpful. The individual that assisted us was very good at his job. He was both knowledgeable and personable, balancing both to deliver great service and yet pressure free shopping. He knew exactly what we were looking for and discussed in detail the attributes of each option
Frustrating experience – they don’t honor their own price match policy.
I visited this location on May 2nd to purchase a Samsung Galaxy Watch Classic 8. I showed the staff the identical product on Samsung’s official website for $545.99. Despite the product numbers matching perfectly, the experience was a series of excuses.
The Runaround: First, staff tried to claim the product numbers didn't match (they did).
Failed Policy: Instead of honoring the "Price Match + 10% of the difference" policy, they tried to "negotiate" a partial discount.
Misleading Titles: I dealt with Adrian Fernando, who was introduced to me as the Manager, though his business card actually identifies him as a Team Lead.
I expect a major retailer to stand by their published guarantees without making the customer jump through hoops. If you're looking for a hassle-free price match, I’d suggest looking elsewhere. This team needs serious retraining on their own store policies
