  Christopher was really nice and checked in on us very frequently to see how we were doing with the meal, today was very busy in the restaurant and christopher came over to us just to make sure we got the right meals we ordered and always made sure our beverages were topped off! overall had a great meal and made a new friend named christopher!

  Food was fantastic! We got the Amore deal for two. Our waiter Chris was professional and friendly. He even brought me a fresh diet pepsi when another table complained that there was something wrong with theirs even though mine tasted fine. It was fairly busy when we were there so my husband's refill took a bit longer than normal, but didn't bother us too much. And because our waiter was held up with serving another customer temporarily, at one point another waiter came over to check on us. Seems they have good teamwork at this location which is nice to see. We had a great experience and will look forward to our next visit.

  A Wonderful Birthday Experience at East Side Mario’s We had a wonderful family dinner at East Side Mario’s to celebrate our daughter Leah’s birthday! 🎉❤️ Our server, Chris, was fantastic—such a nice, friendly, and cooperative person. He went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were taken care of and made our experience very enjoyable. The highlight of the evening was when the Mario robot brought Leah her birthday cake! 🎂🤖 She was so excited and absolutely loved it. It made her birthday extra special and created a wonderful memory for our family. A big thank you to East Side Mario’s, and especially to Chris, for making Leah’s birthday so memorable. We truly appreciate the great service and hospitality. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  We had an excellent experience at East Side Mario’s in Saint John! The atmosphere was great, the food was exceptional, and the service made our visit even better. A special thank you to Christopher, who was very attentive, friendly, and professional throughout our meal. He made sure we had a wonderful experience from start to finish. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and excellent service! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  I actually came here wanting to leave a good review this time because the food was good. I had the salmon and shrimp spaghetti on my previous visit and really enjoyed it, so I was happy to come back. Last night, we had the Garlic Fest again — veal parmigiana and creamy garlic steak fettuccine. The food itself was good, although my creamy potato bacon soup was mostly just chunks of potato. Unfortunately, the service at the end of our meal really changed the experience for us. We arrived around 8:32 p.m., and the restaurant was showing as open until 10 p.m. We had barely started eating when our waitress came back and asked if we wanted a box. We weren't even close to being finished, so naturally we felt like we were being rushed. When we said we weren't finished, she told us, “No rush, no rush,” but it had already made us uncomfortable. When we were getting ready to leave, we mentioned our concern to another waitress, who had actually served us on our previous visit and had been very nice to us. She suggested that we speak to the supervisor. We did, and we were told that the staff are paid until 9 p.m. and have to stay until the last customer leaves. I understand that employees have schedules and I respect that. But if the restaurant is open until 10 p.m., customers coming in at 8:32 p.m. shouldn't feel like they are being rushed through their dinner because the staff are ready to finish their shift. That's what disappointed me the most, because I actually liked the food and was planning to leave a positive review. I still really like the salmon and shrimp spaghetti, and I would probably consider getting takeout in the future. But after this experience, I don't think I'll be dining in again, and unfortunately, I can't recommend East Side Mario's for dining in.
