  Hello, I am a DoorDash driver and I would like to formally report ongoing issues at East Side Mario’s. On multiple occasions, when I arrive to pick up orders, staff do not acknowledge drivers or ask which order we are there to collect. Drivers are often left standing and waiting without assistance. Additionally, DoorDash orders are consistently delayed and rarely ready at the scheduled pickup time. The excessive wait times negatively impact drivers, customers, and delivery performance. Unfortunately, whenever I receive an order from this location, I expect a significant delay because these issues happen so frequently. I respectfully request that management review the pickup process, improve communication with delivery drivers, and ensure that DoorDash orders are prepared on time. Thank you

  Here’s a polished version: We came in for my birthday, and although it was quite busy, the food was amazing. Our server, Rebekah, went above and beyond to make our experience special! Or, if you’re writing a review: We visited for my birthday, and even though it was busy, the food was fantastic. Our server, Rebekah, was outstanding and went above and beyond. She made our experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

  Our waitress, Rebekah, was absolutely fantastic. Even though the restaurant was busy, she made us feel like a priority the entire time. She was super friendly, and always made sure our drinks were refilled before we even had to ask. Her positive attitude and excellent service made our experience amazing . Thank you Rebekah for being such an amazing person.

  Where do I start?! Went to eat there today with our lacrosse team. Parents and players. Had a reservation at 12. Our team manager told the young waitress to take each players jersey number and then come take the parents order under that same jersey number to keep things organized (we do this all the time for our teams to make it easier) Needless to say she didn’t do this. Then while waiting for our meals the manager came up to the parents and said it was her first couple weeks being the manger and she would love for us to give them a 5⭐️ review when we were finished. The food took awhile to come which wasn’t unexpected because of our large group. At least we had the good bread to hold us over. Which is always delish. Food finally came and it was ok to say the least. Once we were done the waitress came over and started asking our parents what their kids names were. Then she asked us for our names. Then we waited about another 30-45 minutes for them to figure out the bills. Our kids were restless so we sent them across the street to the mall. They were literally done shopping and we were still waiting for our bills. Then when we asked the manager if there would be a discount on our bills for the long wait. She said a firm “NO”. Last time I ever go to this restaurant. Here or anywhere they have one. I will NEVER eat at East Side Mario’s again. I now call it West Side Luigi’s. — Disgruntled Customer.

  We came in from Halifax and chose to hold our team lunch at East Side Mario’s in Fredericton. Before we had even placed our order, the manager introduced herself as the new manager and asked us to leave a 5-star review, and that she was really trying to raise the review ratings. The food was as expected, but the service was completely unacceptable. After our meal, we waited over an hour for the two young servers to sort out the bills for the players and parents. Rather than assisting them during the obvious confusion and delay, the manager appeared to be focused on other tasks, including sweeping the floor. Several parents approached the manager throughout the wait and explained that we had a game to get to, but there seemed to be no sense of urgency or concern for the situation. As we approached the one-hour mark waiting simply to pay our bills, we asked whether a discount would be offered given the circumstances. The manager’s response was simply, “Nope”. It was one of the most disorganized and unprofessional dining experiences we’ve ever had. I would not recommend this location to anyone, especially sports teams. Manager, I can assure you, this is no way to improve your reviews, especially for a party of about 40 people who are spending a substantial amount of money at your restaurant. Do better.
