  My cell phone had issues charging came down to the Best Buy on Marine Drive in Vancouver wow what great service weren't there to sell me stuff but to try to help me fix it ended up getting a new charger was very impressed

  The senior advisor Avi was honestly amazing. I went in pretty lost between a few different gimbals, but he was super patient, really kind, and took the time to understand what I actually needed. He let me browse and compare on my end too, then helped me pick the one that made the most sense. Really good experience overall.

  Exceptional customer service at this particular Best Buy, had issues setting up a new laptop and Johnathon at the geek squad was incredibly kind and helpful. Sidhant was also very helpful and patient in answering my questions related to headphones, and made the process feel like a breeze!!

  I have visited many retail establishments in my lifetime. I consider myself reasonably adaptable to the varied sensory experiences that accompany modern commerce. But this Best Buy was something else entirely. The moment I entered the premises, I was confronted by a truly formidable atmospheric phenomenon. Calling it a “bad smell” would be an almost insulting understatement to the complexity and sheer audacity of what was occurring within that building. This was not merely an unpleasant odor. This was an olfactory assault of unprecedented proportions. The air itself seemed to possess a personality, and unfortunately, that personality was hostile. There was a suffocating, pungent, vaguely corporeal stench permeating the store with such determination that I genuinely began questioning whether the HVAC system had been designed specifically to distribute the aroma throughout every aisle. It was as though several distinct categories of unpleasantness had convened in one location and collectively decided that ventilation was an optional luxury. I walked through the store attempting to maintain composure, but the odor followed me with an almost malevolent persistence. It lingered in the aisles. It hovered around the displays. It insinuated itself into the very fabric of the building. And the employees? Completely unfazed. This is perhaps the most baffling part of the entire experience. How many hours must one spend inside a building before an odor of this magnitude becomes imperceptible? Have they simply adapted to it? Has the human nose finally surrendered? Is this now considered a normal working environment? At one point, I became so conscious of the smell that I was no longer shopping for electronics. I was simply trying to understand what had happened here. Was there a plumbing catastrophe? A ventilation malfunction? A forgotten biological experiment in the stockroom? Something decomposing beneath the flooring? Or has this location simply been allowed to develop its own ecosystem? Or potentially and most likely a lack of deodorant provided to employees? Along with a daily fabreeze dusting of the isles. I cannot say. What I can say is that the stench was so remarkably potent that it transformed an otherwise ordinary retail excursion into a deeply memorable sensory ordeal. And that is truly unfortunate, because Best Buy sells electronics, not immersive survival experiences. The customers deserve better. My respiratory system deserves better. I entered this establishment expecting to browse consumer electronics. I left having developed an intimate and entirely unwanted relationship with the concept of stench. I cannot recommend this location until the air has been thoroughly interrogated and the employees properly bathed so that the source of the odor can be identified, and whatever has been allowed to fester within those walls has been dealt with accordingly.
