I bought a MacBook about two years ago, and honestly, it has been one of the most frustrating tech experiences I’ve ever had.
From the beginning, I had constant lagging and delays, especially while writing code and working on projects. Then one day I opened my MacBook and discovered that my documents had disappeared from my Desktop. They weren’t in the Trash, and they weren’t simply deleted. Fortunately, the files I had stored in iCloud were still there, but I lost roughly two years of work, including documents, code, and projects I had spent countless hours creating.
I contacted Apple Support, and even after speaking with a support representative, nobody could explain where my files had gone or recover them. To me, this was an unacceptable software failure and a huge loss of trust in the product.
After this experience, I’m done with Apple. I’m selling my MacBook and switching to Windows. I’m also planning to sell my iPhone and move to Android.
I genuinely regret choosing Apple, and I’ll be sharing my experience with everyone I know. If you’re considering buying Apple products, think twice about trusting them with important work and data.
