  I've eaten at East Side Mario's quite a few times over the years, and it never disappoints. The pasta is always my go-to, and honestly, I think it's some of the best in town. I usually end up creating my own pasta because I like being able to mix and match exactly what I'm in the mood for. And can we talk about the bread? That warm loaf they bring to the table is dangerous. I always tell myself I'll just have a piece or two, and then suddenly half the loaf is gone. It's also a great place to meet up with friends or bring the family. The atmosphere is relaxed, the portions are good, and there's something on the menu for everyone even if you're not in the mood for pasta. I also like supporting them because a lot of people don't realize the Camrose location is locally owned. We need to support the local business owners who invest in our community. Oh, and if you're thinking you're too full for dessert... you're probably wrong. Trust me. Definitely one of my favourite spots in Camrose.

  We were there for dinner last night, our server looked absolutely bagged and her attitude reflected that, and it appeared most of the others were as well. It was very busy, took 50 mins to just get our salads after having to ask. After ordering, 30 mins later we were told one of the dishes was no longer available. Our server went AWOL and then we had someone else who was in a similar mindset serve us. She finally brought our salad and said that they weren't ours, and dropped them on the table. We asked for cutlery, and after waiting 10 mins, I went and found my own. I understand Camrose was very busy and this weekend with tournaments and events, but as a restaurant manager you should be prepared for this. We were not the only table in the vicinity with a similar experience.

  When my daughter was served her meal it was still frozen on the inside, we asked to warm it up and all they did was mix the frozen ingredients into the warm ingredients.

  What a beauty. Excellent service. Great Italian cuisine. Bottomless fresh bread & sides. Great atmosphere. Kids love it. Try the Italian Wedding soup. No one leaves here hungry. This is my go to whenever I have to travel through Camrose.

  We had a less than desirable experience on Mother’s Day. Our waitress was either new or very disorganized and we had to ask for everything. The biggest reason for the poor rating was our food was very very late. We waited for about an hour for our main dishes. When they did arrive the noodles were hard and cold and some of the other food was burnt on the edges and not great. The restaurant was not overly busy as there were empty tables and others had ordered after us and received food before us. I usually like East side but the service and food were not great so therefore I will not be going back and will not recommend this restaurant to others.
