I have been an Apple customer for many years, and I have never experienced service this disappointing.
We ordered an Apple Watch more than a week in advance for my daughter’s birthday because it was not available in store. We were specifically told it would be ready by October 2 and that we would only be charged once it arrived. Instead, we were charged the next day, and the watch never arrived.
What is even more frustrating is that from the day the order was placed, I did not receive a single update or notification from Apple letting me know that the order was delayed.
On October 5, I spent over 1.5 hours on the phone with Apple Customer Service trying to resolve the issue, while repeatedly explaining that my daughter’s birthday was the next day. The only options offered were to cancel the order and wait up to 5 days for a refund, or place a replacement order with no clear delivery date. I also asked to speak with a manager and was not properly assisted.
If I had not called Apple myself, I would not even have known that the order was not going to arrive.
We relied on the information given to us by the Apple representative, and because of Apple’s mistake, my daughter may not receive the birthday gift we ordered well in advance.
Extremely disappointing service and absolutely not what I would expect from Apple.
I had an excellent experience with this Apple agent Adibah Mina. She was incredibly patient, kind, and helpful throughout the entire process. She took the time to listen to all of our questions and made sure we understood everything before moving forward.
She went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed, and her professionalism and positive attitude made the experience so much easier and less stressful. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about helping customers and providing great service.
Apple is very lucky to have someone like her on the team. I hope her management recognizes the outstanding customer service she provides. She absolutely deserves five stars!
The other day i had the absolute displeasure of dealing with Joanne a manager here at market mall apple store. She was incredibly rude and dismissive during our interaction. I had been in the day before and had talked to two associates who said they would reserve a phone for me for 48 hours, and so when i approached joanne and explained the situation she reacted almost as if i was lying. They ended up not holding the phone and so when I came they had nothing which was very disappointing as i had cancelled my online order and if i was to replace it, it wouldn’t come for another month. As a manager there was no apology for their mistake or real acknowledgment, just a very poor attitude and hostility. I feel bad for her employees I can only imagine what she is like with them if she acts that way with customers.

Person who helped us at check-in was phenomenal. (Anmal?) We were having serious trouble with a friends iPhone screen that had gone black. We couldn't fix it on our own. Called AppleCare; no help. No appointments available so we were walk-ins. Had to drive an hour to get to the store. The check-in person took one look at it and said, "I've seen this before." She tilted the phone ever so slightly to where we could very faintly make out the lock screen. We opened the phone and were thankfully able to swipe up the brightness to normal. Wonderful person! Fabulous help. It was critical due to our friend's diabetes and complete reliance on her iPhone for her insulin pump and Continuous Glucose Monitor! Thank you Apple store! Thank you Anmal--you are a blessing to this planet!
I visited Apple Market Mall on September 19 to purchase an Apple Watch, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing.
After waiting in line, I was assigned to a sales associate who was helping another customer. I completely understood and was happy to wait. However, even after that customer’s transaction was completed, the associate repeatedly left me waiting to assist other customers. He even interrupted my order halfway through to help someone else.
The watch band selection was also frustrating. When I asked to see Sand, he said he would bring it over but never did. He also incorrectly identified an off-white band as Pale Succulent, even after checking with another employee. Later, he gave me conflicting information about whether Sand was in stock.
I eventually purchased the correct Sand band, but I had to rely on my own judgment rather than the information provided.
I spent approximately 45 minutes in the store, including the initial queue. I had travelled from Red Deer specifically for this purchase and needed to drive home that evening.
I understand that stores get busy, but I expected accurate product information and consistent assistance after waiting my turn. I left feeling overlooked and disappointed.
