It was my first time purchasing a new phone at an actual Apple store. The initial interaction with the first salesperson was good, he was polite and professional. He then told his colleague to help me with the buying process. The sales lady was upset about my friend telling her that I didn’t need the AppleCare. She literally told my friend that ‘If her phone breaks then you’re paying for it’ My sister purchased her iPhone at the Market mall location and the salesperson didn’t have problem knowing my sister didn’t want the AppleCare. Two stars is for the first salesperson’s efficient and professional service.

Very disappointing experience at the Apple Store in Chinook Centre. I booked a battery replacement appointment three days in advance and drove approximately 40 minutes from Okotoks specifically for it. I arrived at 7:30 p.m. and waited about 40 minutes, only to be told that they were too busy and didn’t have enough time to replace the battery, so I would have to come back another day. I asked to speak with the manager, Nick D., but unfortunately his response was essentially the same — no solution, just several explanations about how busy the store was. I also asked for his last name so I could properly identify the manager I was speaking with, but he refused to provide it. I understand that stores can be busy, but that is not a reasonable explanation for failing to honor a scheduled appointment. If Apple accepts an appointment, customers should be able to expect the service to be available. In my opinion, a manager’s job is to manage situations like this and find a reasonable solution for the customer, rather than simply provide excuses for why the store cannot provide the service. Very frustrating experience and a complete waste of my Saturday evening — approximately 80 minutes of driving plus another 40 minutes at the store, time that I could have spent with my family instead. Extremely disappointing experience at Apple Store Chinook. My iPhone 17 Pro Max is less than 10 months old and still under warranty. I’ve now had to visit the store 3–4 times for the same screen issue. First, the screen was replaced, and when that didn’t fix the problem, the logic board was replaced. Unfortunately, the exact same issue still exists. What’s even more frustrating is that I was not properly informed that replacing the logic board would erase my phone. As a result, I lost approximately two months of data, including important photos and information. Each visit takes several hours out of my day, and after multiple repairs and trips, the problem remains unresolved. I also found the customer service disappointing, with staff coming across as dismissive and not taking my concerns seriously. At this point, I believe Apple should consider replacing the device rather than continuing to perform repairs that clearly aren’t resolving the issue. I expected much better from Apple, especially for a product still under warranty. Customers’ time is valuable, and unfortunately, I do not feel mine was respected. Very disappointing experience.

Had a poor experience at Apple mostly because of the inexperience of the staff in helping transition to a new phone. When the staff couldn’t handle the problem she walked away and didn’t come back. Maybe if they were trained better they could handle these situations. The manager came out and initially made the situation worse until the situation was explained to them. Never asked questions first but just assumed they knew the problem. Ultimately had to return the new phone as they couldn’t do the transition that evening. When I had asked for a manager to call me back it has still never happened. Actually did the survey where I asked for a manager to call back so I guess they don’t read the surveys as that didn’t happen. Very disappointed with the visit but hopefully the experience improves.

I went into the store with the intention of trading in my iPhone 13 for an iPhone 17 Pro. The associate, Paige, explained that I could purchase the new phone, transfer all of my data, reset my iPhone 13, and then return the following day to complete the trade-in. We set up the purchase through Affirm, and I was specifically told that once I returned and completed the trade-in, the value of my iPhone 13 would be applied and my monthly payments would decrease. I followed all of the instructions exactly as provided and returned the next day with my iPhone 13 ready for the trade-in. However, while completing the trade-in, the associate assisting me asked whether I had made a down payment. I said no, as this was never mentioned to me when I initially made the purchase or when the payment plan was set up. I was then told that the only option available to me was to receive a $230 gift card for the value of my iPhone 13. This is extremely frustrating because I was told that completing the trade-in would reduce my monthly Affirm payments. Because the required down payment was never communicated to me, I am now unable to complete the trade-in as originally explained and am left with my iPhone 13. I followed the instructions I was given, and I feel that I should not be held responsible for information that was not communicated to me at the time of purchase. This has been a very frustrating experience and a disappointing level of customer service. I would appreciate this being reviewed and a reasonable solution being provided.
