  We had a very good experience with this hotel. Made a reservation online. It was a little pricey, but it was in the middle of tourist season in the national parks. It is conveniently located between national parks. If you are traveling from Jasper National Park to Glacier National Park it is a convenient midway point. It is located in a pretty little town. The room we had had a pretty little balcony off the side of the room, where you could sit and look at the Rocky Mountains just off the side of the town. Had a delicious breakfast bar too.

  Wonderful location having walkable distance to downtown center. Good breakfast. Basement parking is available. Room was comfortable.

  Setting aside the fact that real estate prices in Banff are simply astronomical, the hotel was good. Honestly, I have never paid so much for such a small room. But the hotel probably isn't to blame for that—it’s more down to the location. Breakfast was okay. The location is good, too; the usual pickup points for tours are a maximum five-minute walk away.

  We recently stayed at the Best Western in Banff and were originally scheduled to stay from Friday through Monday. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to cut our trip short and leave early. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience. The room was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. We stayed in Room 311, which I would highly recommend. It features a private outdoor jacuzzi on the deck, a separate bedroom, a microwave, and a small refrigerator—perfect for a relaxing Banff getaway. One thing to note is that parking can be a bit challenging if you have a larger vehicle. Our truck exceeded the 5’9” height restriction for some parking areas, and much of the nearby street parking is reserved for permit holders. However, this was a minor inconvenience compared to the overall quality of our stay. What truly stood out was the customer service. Jay Ann, who was working at the front desk and is originally from the Philippines, was absolutely wonderful. She was warm, professional, kind, and very helpful during both our stay and checkout process. Her hospitality made a great impression on us. The hotel’s location is another major advantage—it’s within easy walking distance of downtown Banff, restaurants, shops, and local attractions. We would gladly stay here again and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Banff. Clean rooms, excellent service, and a fantastic location made for a memorable stay.

  Stayed here for 3 nights in May. Solid hotel with large room and balcony. Usual facilities you'd expect from a Best Western. No issues with service. There was a pool we didn't use but looked great. The location is slightly further out than central Banff but no more than a 5-10min walk. For the price there were no complaints other than nearby hotel guests being unnecessarily loud but might not be helped by the paper thin walls.
