    I am posting this again because my review was taken down shortly after I expressed my experience, but I believe that it is imperative for people to know the unprofessionalism and disrespect at LensCrafters Yorkdale. I will continue to make sure this gets noticed. During my visit a few days ago, I witnessed what appeared to be a blonde shorter older female manager I believe her name is Yuliya behaving in a way that I found extremely unprofessional. Throughout my time in the store, she was walking around openly making negative comments and repeatedly using profanity in front of both customers and staff. Some of the comments I personally heard included statements such as, “I don’t want to f-bomb be here,” “this place is so f-bomb unorganized,” and “nobody here knows f-bomb anything.” Hearing this kind of language in a professional retail environment was surprising and uncomfortable. It created a very negative experience and reflected poorly on the store’s management. What was most concerning was that these comments appeared to be directed at the workplace and employees, which can be discouraging for staff and certainly does not inspire confidence in customers. This behavior is extremely disrespectful, inappropriate, and lacks professionalism. Regardless of what challenges may be happening behind the scenes, customers should not be exposed to profanity, complaints about the workplace, or negative remarks about employees while shopping. I expected a much higher standard of professionalism from a company like LensCrafters. Based on this experience alone, I would be hesitant to return to this location and hope that someone higher up addresses these concerns to create a more respectful and welcoming environment for both customers and staff.

    (Backdated to November 27, 2024.) I had a great experience picking and purchasing a new pair of prescription glasses from Lenscrafters Yorkdale location, thanks to Nancy. Nancy is very knowledgeable with her craft. She was very patient with describing the different lens types and it's features, and which would fit best for me. *********** Today, Nancy helped me replace a broken Nose Pad from the glasses I brought from her, at no cost. As always, thank you Nancy for your professionalism and kindness!

    I had a very good experience at this LensCrafters location. Mahnoor was incredibly helpful, patient, and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. She never rushed me and took the time to answer my questions and help me explore different options. Because of her assistance, I felt very comfortable and confident that I would find the perfect pair of glasses. When my glasses arrived, I was very pleased with them. They fit well and met my expectations. Overall, the customer service was excellent, and I truly appreciate Mahnoor’s professionalism and kindness. I would definitely recommend this location to others.

    I want to start off by saying— I have always loved the lens crafter at the Yorkdale location and have always bought glasses from them. I was in the store with my husband trying to purchase a new set of glasses, when I was approached by a young woman eager to help me. As my husband and I were cashing out, I’m assuming the new manager— as I’ve never seen her prior to this encounter, abruptly came to correct the young woman serving us, and made the once joyful transaction into an uncomfortable and tense atmosphere. I suggest the ‘new’ manager or whomever that goes by Yuliya— treats their associates with more respect and consideration especially infront of customers. My husband and I left feeling awkward and upset for that young woman helping us.

    I had a great experience getting my glasses here. Takis was very respectful, patient, and helpful throughout the whole process. He took the time to help me find a pair that suited me well and made sure I felt comfortable with my choice. I really appreciated that he was professional and honest without being pushy. He answered my questions clearly and made the experience easy and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for glasses and great customer service.
