  I was visiting Ottawa from Toronto for a short vacation and was walking around Parliament Hill when I unfortunately dropped my Ray-Ban sunglasses. One of the tiny screws came loose and disappeared. The glasses weren’t broken, but I couldn’t wear them properly anymore. I was honestly so frustrated and didn’t know where to go. I happened to walk into For Eyes by Clearly at CF Rideau Centre, beside Nike, hoping they could help. I spoke with Japnit at the front and explained what happened. I asked if they could repair it, and I was completely prepared to pay for the repair—I just needed a tiny screw and someone who could fix it. Japnit was incredibly kind and helpful. She told me to wait and that she would take care of it. A little while later, she came back with my sunglasses and said, “It’s already fixed.” I was so happy and relieved! I immediately asked how much I owed her because I was more than willing to pay for the service. But she simply said they were happy to help people. That small gesture honestly made my day. I’m from Toronto, and this was my first time visiting Ottawa. Everyone I’ve encountered has been so helpful, but this experience really stood out to me. The store itself was also very clean, welcoming, and well organized, with great products and services. But what impressed me the most was the kindness and willingness to help. A huge KUDOS to Japnit and the entire For Eyes by Clearly team! You never know how much a small act of kindness can mean to someone who is having a frustrating day. Thank you for helping me when you absolutely didn’t have to. It was a simple gesture, but it meant a lot to me. Thank you, Japnit! You’re awesome! 🙌

  I went in when my glasses were bent and almost going to break, I was with my sister and we had gone to another shop in the mall where we were told it was too risky to have them repaired but Vishal so gladly and effortlessly was able to repair them and fix everything seemingly. Not only was he professional but he also served us with warmth and enthusiasm. Thank you Vishal for your great service and for being able to repair my glasses!
