  honestly really disappointed with my purchase.. I got these during Khatsilano, so I was out of my usual neighbourhood. When I was contacted about two weeks later to pick them up, I had to ask to leave work an hour early so I could drive to Kitsilano from East Van in time before they closed. I was told that they sent the alert in their system by accident (and didn't let me know) so I went home empty handed. I was hoping they'd at least offer me a discount coupon for the future or something for the trouble but nothing. I had to ask a friend to pick them up for me before my summer trip because I had no time to drop by again. When I got them, they didn't even provide me a glasses case, just a fabric bag the glasses were put in. I have only had the sunglasses for 2 months and the nosepiece has already broken. I spent my entire insurance allowance on these so needless to say I'm pretty unhappy with it. People working there were very nice and friendly and nothing against them personally but for such an expense, I felt pretty disappointed. will be purchasing cheaper frames online from now on (which I have been doing my whole life, and have never had any break on me within 2 months)

  Glasses I got were very nice, however they don't really know what they're doing in terms of billing. I was told that they cannot bill more than one insurance policy at a time, so I was charged the outstanding balance of my claim and told to submit manually, only to find that they did charge my secondary insurance. I went into the store where they were able to verify that they were paid twice (by both my insurance plans and by me), but now I still have to wait an extra few days to get the money they inappropriately charged me back. Really not happy that this billing mistake even happened. Super not happy that I have to wait even longer to get a refund for a mistake they are able to verify while I was there; having to wait makes no sense. TL/DR: investigate your claims thoroughly when you get glasses here. Make sure the bill is correct.

  Horrible experience getting an eye test here. The person who was doing my tests prior to seeing the eye doctor didn’t seem like she knew how to do the tests. I asked to repeat, but they reassured me it’s fine. Now that I got glasses with their prescription, I still can’t see well and will need to get both the test redone and pay for new glasses and new contact lenses again… Do not waste your time and money on this place

  I had an exceptional experience at For Eyes by Clearly in Kitsilano, and I especially want to recognize Iraj for his outstanding customer service! I came in to have my glasses adjusted, and Iraj was absolutely wonderful. He was incredibly patient, kind, friendly, and professional, and took the time to make sure my glasses were adjusted properly and felt comfortable. What really stood out to me was how genuinely helpful and attentive he was — he never made me feel rushed and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. It’s not often you come across someone who provides this level of care and professionalism, and Iraj truly deserves recognition for it. The Kitsilano store itself is clean, welcoming, and has a great team. I’ve been coming here for glasses, contact lenses, and eye examinations, and I’ve consistently had excellent experiences with the staff. I highly recommend For Eyes by Clearly, and especially Iraj. He is a fantastic representative of the company and a real asset to the team.I hope management recognizes what a great job he is doing! They also have another location on Robson, which is very convenient!
