I’ve been to around four different LensCrafters locations, and this one has by far the worst customer service I’ve experienced.
When you walk in, no one really greets you or asks if you need help. It wasn’t even busy, yet I literally had to walk up to a representative and approach them myself just to get noticed and receive assistance. As a customer, I shouldn’t have to go out of my way just to get someone to help me.
I also think that as eyewear representatives, the staff should be more knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to recommending glasses. They should be able to give honest opinions about different frame shapes, what suits someone’s face, and what would be comfortable for everyday wear. Glasses are something people wear almost all the time, so having someone who can properly guide you in choosing the right pair really matters.
What disappointed me even more was that the salesperson noticed my nose pads were dirty but didn’t even offer to replace them. At other LensCrafters locations I’ve visited, the staff have always been friendly, attentive, and willing to offer little services like that without me having to ask.
It honestly feels like the staff here only care about helping you if you’re planning to buy something. Otherwise, you’re pretty much ignored.
I’ve had good experiences at other LensCrafters branches, so I know their customer service can be much better. Unfortunately, this location really fell short of my expectations. I hope they improve their customer service because buying glasses should be a comfortable and helpful experience, not one where you feel like you have to chase someone down just to get assistance.
