Wow. What an absolutely terrible experience getting glasses from this location.
I purchased a pair of Tom Ford prescription glasses from LensCrafters Coquitlam on March 27th, and from the very beginning the communication and customer service has been unbelievably poor.
The first issue started when the system supposedly “left me a message” saying my glasses were ready — except no message was ever received. If I hadn’t personally called the store myself, I never would have even known they were ready for pickup.
So I go in, get the glasses fitted, and everything seems fine until I get home and notice the lenses are covered in extremely fine swirl marks/scratches. For a premium pair of prescription Tom Ford glasses, that’s unacceptable.
I contacted the store and was told to come back in so the issue could be resolved. I did exactly that, and I was informed replacement lenses would be ordered.
Fast forward nearly a month.
Yesterday afternoon, I called the store to check on the status because enough time had already passed. I was told they needed to “look into it” and that someone would call me right back. That call never came.
After waiting almost two hours, I called back myself, only to be brushed off by the manager and told I would receive a call the next day.
So today I waited again.
By 3PM — after hearing absolutely nothing — I called yet again because the communication from this branch has been so consistently poor. Once again, I was told: “We’ll call you right back.” I specifically expressed that I was frustrated with the repeated lack of follow-through, and I was assured the manager would call me within 30 minutes.
That call never came either.
After waiting another hour and 45 minutes, I called AGAIN, only to finally be told that the replacement lenses had apparently only just been ordered today at 3:30PM… and that the manager had already left for the day.
So after weeks of waiting, multiple ignored callbacks, constant excuses, and zero proactive communication, I’m now being told it will be another 7–10 business days because the system “greyed out” my glasses.
This entire experience has been incredibly frustrating and honestly embarrassing for a company that sells premium eyewear. The complete lack of communication, accountability, and follow-through from management at LensCrafters Coquitlam has been unacceptable from start to finish.
