I just ordered and received new prescription glasses. Suhani was super helpful, friendly and patient and overall I'd say its one of the best stores if you're looking for glasses. It was my first time coming here and it definitely won't be my last.

Of the three eyeglass purveyors in Coquitlam mall I visited on a weekday afternoon, LensCrafters was easily the winner in a competition of which had the most indifferent and uninformed staff. After five minutes of scanning the racks for a simple pair of men’s black acetate frames in a virtually empty store that seemed to have several sales people, one finally came up to me. When I explained what I was looking for and included the measurements such as arm length to help narrow it down, it was clear they weren’t prepared for an informed customer. Their first response was “I don’t think we have anything like that”. However in my perusal of the displays I’d seen a PRADA frame that matched the general description. I told them. But I also said I was looking for something that wasn’t so visibly branded that it was like wearing a billboard on my face. Dully, they said it they’d “check” but it was going to “take a few minutes”. They turned away and began talking to another employee. I wandered the store for several more minutes before deciding to leave. I had planned to buy a pair of RX sunglasses along with the dailies I was looking for. I anticipated dropping $1000 for both pairs and lenses. The sales person didn’t know that, obviously. But their palpable disdain for trying to help me cost them a customer and earned this review. They have racks of Oakley and Versace, etc but good luck finding anything stylish and understated. And shop around.

Wow. What an absolutely terrible experience getting glasses from this location. I purchased a pair of Tom Ford prescription glasses from LensCrafters Coquitlam on March 27th, and from the very beginning the communication and customer service has been unbelievably poor. The first issue started when the system supposedly “left me a message” saying my glasses were ready — except no message was ever received. If I hadn’t personally called the store myself, I never would have even known they were ready for pickup. So I go in, get the glasses fitted, and everything seems fine until I get home and notice the lenses are covered in extremely fine swirl marks/scratches. For a premium pair of prescription Tom Ford glasses, that’s unacceptable. I contacted the store and was told to come back in so the issue could be resolved. I did exactly that, and I was informed replacement lenses would be ordered. Fast forward nearly a month. Yesterday afternoon, I called the store to check on the status because enough time had already passed. I was told they needed to “look into it” and that someone would call me right back. That call never came. After waiting almost two hours, I called back myself, only to be brushed off by the manager and told I would receive a call the next day. So today I waited again. By 3PM — after hearing absolutely nothing — I called yet again because the communication from this branch has been so consistently poor. Once again, I was told: “We’ll call you right back.” I specifically expressed that I was frustrated with the repeated lack of follow-through, and I was assured the manager would call me within 30 minutes. That call never came either. After waiting another hour and 45 minutes, I called AGAIN, only to finally be told that the replacement lenses had apparently only just been ordered today at 3:30PM… and that the manager had already left for the day. So after weeks of waiting, multiple ignored callbacks, constant excuses, and zero proactive communication, I’m now being told it will be another 7–10 business days because the system “greyed out” my glasses. This entire experience has been incredibly frustrating and honestly embarrassing for a company that sells premium eyewear. The complete lack of communication, accountability, and follow-through from management at LensCrafters Coquitlam has been unacceptable from start to finish.
