I recently had the misfortune of visiting Drs. E. Kim, M. Kim, D. Larsen & Associates for what I had hoped would be a routine eye examination. However, the callous and inconsiderate behaviour I experienced during my brief encounter left me utterly shocked and appalled.
Despite being 8 months pregnant and enduring a bone-chilling drive of 30 minutes in a staggering minus 30 degrees Celsius, Drs. E. Kim, M. Kim, D. Larsen & Associates demonstrated a complete lack of empathy by refusing to see me after being 5 minutes past the scheduled appointment time. Yes, you read that correctly – five whole minutes.
I understand the importance of punctuality, but I also believe that basic human decency and understanding should prevail, especially when dealing with pregnant individuals facing challenging weather conditions. It is disheartening to encounter a healthcare professional who prioritizes rigid schedules over the well-being and comfort of their patients.
I would have expected a medical professional to recognize the physical strain of pregnancy, the discomfort of extreme weather, and the effort it takes to get to an appointment under such circumstances. Unfortunately, Drs. E. Kim, M. Kim, D. Larsen & Associates appeared more concerned with enforcing strict time constraints than ensuring the overall health and satisfaction of their patients.
I strongly caution anyone seeking eye care services to think twice before considering Drs. E. Kim, M. Kim, D. Larsen & Associates. A healthcare provider should be compassionate, understanding, and willing to accommodate the unique needs of their patients.
I hope that this review serves as a warning to others who might be seeking a more considerate and patient-centered eye care professional. In the end, it's not just about 5 minutes; it's about the lack of empathy and understanding that defines Drs. E. Kim, M. Kim, D. Larsen & Associates's approach to patient care.
