I went on the week of my birthday for my birthday gift on may 29. The manager was so rude.
She said that i had to spend 20 dollars to get my birthday gift and I said no problem. Then once at the cash register, she said that I cannot buy the same brand of chocolate as the gift. I cannot buy lindt and get a lindt gift bag. So I went on to choose another brand of chocolate so I can get my lindt gift bag. Once again at the cash register, she had no clue how to do it on the system. I always receive the emails. I am a member since last year. But they said I needed the specific birthday gift email which i never received. They couldn't do anything even when I showed my ID.
The girls there were nice and helpful and explained that I needed to contact customer service but the manager was so rude. And while I was trying to understand the issue and also order a drink, she kept insisting that there are customers waiting and she is closing soon. She didn't let me ask about the drinks to order. She kept interrupting and asking us to hurry up or move or whatever. She didnt let me understand the problem with my birthday gift. I ended up just wanting to leave and not see her face.
Very bad customer service. I do not recommend.
You can walk 50 meters and buy the same chocolate in Jean Coutu, Pharamaprix or any other supermarket for 30% less expensive, exactly the same chocolate.
Expérience affreuse. Les deux employées présentes ne répondaient correctement à aucune de nos questions. Nous avons demandé à plusieurs reprises le prix des chocolats vendus au poids, mais elles faisaient semblant de ne pas comprendre et évitaient de nous répondre clairement.Nous nous sommes retrouvés avec une facture d’environ 210 $ avant même l’application du rabais de 40 %. Un minimum de transparence et de service à la clientèle aurait été apprécié. Très décevant.

I went to get my present gift buying of course something to get the coupon valid. When I got to chose my present the lady said to me: the tiramisu chocolates are very good…. I have never tried it so I ask her… as you always do in the boutique you give away the classic red chocolate ball can I as for the tiramisu instead just to try it and see if I get that bag as my gift … she asked the manger or someone who was there : she asks: is possible to give her the tiramisu one just this time? … he reply with a ver annoying face No!
Then I said even if is juts for my birthday with a smile in my face all happy … he reply with even a more annoying face and tone .. No! Sorry! He turn his head and look to the other way. It may seem very simple but is not about the chocolate is about the respect and the attitude of certain people towards clients when they are disrespectful and really just bad a customer service! Just a little advice being kind is a choice and for one chocolate and good.attitude is just about being a decent human being!
Disappointed on the experience with lindt worker
