  I personally witnessed this interaction. The employees were polite and genuinely tried to help you and offered you several solutions. However, the way you spoke to and treated the staff was not appropriate. Being hungry does not give anyone the right to be disrespectful to employees. They were simply following the system and the available pricing. If you wanted all the turkey on one side of the sub, you could have simply asked them to put the turkey on one side. Instead, you continued arguing with the employees. In the end, they even offered you a refund to resolve the situation. I think the staff handled the situation professionally and did their best to help you. Honestly, I think they did the right thing by throwing the food away. After you received your refund, it seemed like you were trying to get the food for free. The employees did nothing wrong and were simply following the store’s policy.

  I asked for 12” turkey sub for my 8 and 6 year old kid. The only modification I asked is that it’s turkey on half (my son doesn’t eat meat) the rest of the sub was the same. No extra toppings or substitutions for different meat. When I got to the cash, they charged me for 6” turkey, and 6” veggie (his sub was literally only bread and cheese). The $6 difference isn’t the end of the world, but for a kids meal I thought it was a reasonable request. I’m trying to beat their system. Their solution was they will make a 12” and I have to move the trukey over myself, or a refund. They wouldn’t just adjust the price to the $11 special. I got my money back. They threw the food in the garbage, seems like a silly solution to me.

  The staff was so kind and welcoming. 100% best subway in the GTA. May not seem that good first glance, but as soon as u walk in it instantly hits u.
