    Seriously, how much sugar is in your regular Oreo shake? After just two sips, I felt like I had consumed an entire bag of sugar. Either your sugar supplier is giving it away for free, or someone got a little too generous with the recipe. No disrespect, but you’ve officially scared me away from ordering drinks here again.

    The food at this location is consistently good, and the service is excellent. Elizabeth often serves us at the drive-through. She is very friendly, yet professional, and even remembers our usual order! This makes our Harvey’s lunch experience even better.

    The staff is extremely patient and friendly. Such as Priya and the other ladies at the counter. Harvey always has a quality to their food, combined with friendly service at this location, definitely my go to fast food restaurant.

    I really hope this reaches who it needs to. I have been ordering the same meal (with a variable side) for 15 years. It is always a double angus burger with cheese and typically a poutine or a specialty poutine. When available, I use the Angus Meal Deal coupon and add cheese, an extra angus patty and the poutine to the order. The price increases per item added, however not as expensive as the combo without the coupon. For the 15 years I have been ordering this meal the coupons come and go in season, changing in price over the years. That is understandable of course. When the deal is available the deal is available, no problem. Today, upon declaring my coupon in the drive thru I was told that I was not able to add cheese to a coupon item. After some discussion the person on the mic asked a manager if I could have cheese and it was accepted. I then asked to add an extra angus patty for the full price of the patty, and that request was also denied. I requested to drive up to the window to speak directly to the person behind the microphone. After some discussion she asked if I would like a manager and I agreed. After a few minutes the manager arrived. At this time I asked her if it is best that I drive out of the drive thru and enter the restaurant so that I did not disturb the drive thru process, she did not seem disturbed by the drive thru hold up. After explaining the situation the manger seemed to be under the impression that if they sold me an extra angus patty for my burger at full price of the patty that they would be “losing money” and continued to explain that “things are expensive these days”. I made it clear I am happy to pay full price for the additional patty and it would be an additional sale to the restaurant but I don’t believe that message was understood for some reason. I am writing to check if the above situation is a company policy (which is what I was told) or if the manager was mistaken. I am a faithful Harvey’s customer and always go to my local Stouffville Harvey’s above all of the other fast food burger chains within a few hundred metres. Looking forward to hearing back about this situation and hopefully enjoying an Angus Meal Deal with an additional angus patty completely and appropriately paid for through the coupon process in the future.
