This restaurant is an absolute joke, if you don't believe me refer to all the other terrible reviews saying the same thing.
If you want any toppings at all, go somewhere else, if you want to not be berated for asking for WHAT SHOULD BE a regular amount of toppings, and is at any other subway, definitely don't go here.
We ordered two combos, one of which was a premium sub, when it came time to get my toppings, the manager, or owner I'm not sure which tried to discreetly put his worker on break so he could make my sub, as we've run into this problem before, about 8 months ago.
I asked for onion, and he put on what I would be generous in describing as skimpy, then when I asked for more, he gave me approximately two individual slices, not full circle slices, two quarter moon slices. When I asked for more, he angrily told me that was the best he could do and he refused. I would describe his voice as confrontational and belligerent.
I asked if he was serious, as you wouldn't think red onion is the real money pit for a restaurant. He said if I wanted any more he would have to charge me for it, so I asked how much he would charge me, and he said it would depend on how much, I said I only wanted a little and he said "two bucks!". Which would be the price it would cost me for gas and groceries if I were to drive to the nearest super market and purchase 2 red onions.
I asked if this was really worth losing business over, and he responded, "you said that last time and here you are so I know it doesn't matter and you are lying", to which I responded, "I'll make sure to never make that mistake again."
I hope the manager/ owner reads this, and I hope someone from head office reads this and realizes that this one branch is putting a stain on whatever reputation you have, and the reviews for Kincardine aren't much better. If we hadn't already paid I would have told him to keep the sub.
An absolute joke of a restaurant, whoever reads this, make yourself a sandwich and skip the headache, I guarantee you'll make it better and it wont cost you $38.
