  Bier Markt is a great restaurant and beer hall located in downtown Ottawa near the Parliament. There were a lot of options! The Ahi tuna bowl was amazing! Very fresh and flavorful. There was lots of seating available—both patio and indoor. Service was fast and prices were reasonable. Would definitely recommend!

  Wir hatten gestern einen richtig schönen Abend, vor allem dank Sebastian! Er war super nett, hat uns toll zu den Bieren beraten, sich viel Zeit für uns genommen und uns sogar noch ein paar Tipps für Ottawa gegeben. Die Bierauswahl ist riesig und wirklich lecker! Gegessen haben wir zwar nichts, aber für die Biere und die tolle Atmosphäre würden wir definitiv wiederkommen.

  I had to have Schnitzel for my birthday so went downtown and found it at Bier Markt. Lovely piece of pork schnitzel requested with salmon for my wife and served promptly by the delightful Katie who tolerated my Dad joking and even almost agreed to add a candle to my plate. I will be talking for days about our dinner and will be returning soon.

  We chose Bier Markt for a first date, and little did we know it would turn into a night we'll never forget. Mikayla was our server, and her kindness and genuine warmth truly touched us. Her incredible attention to detail and heartfelt communication created an atmosphere that felt special beyond words. Honestly, Mikayla’s amazingness was so unforgettable, it even earned me a second date—something I never expected! Our dining experience was nothing short of extraordinary, and I can't wait to come back again soon to relive that magic.

  We came to this restaurant for lunch on our way to our tour of Parliament, and what a lovely experience it was. Our waitress, Ryan, was absolutely wonderful. So knowledgeable, welcoming, and attentive. The restaurant was very busy, but the food was simply amazing. I would also like to mention the lovely young lady at the door. She greeted us with such a bright smile when we arrived, had us laughing with a few little jokes, and made sure we were comfortable at our table. Such a cheerful and welcoming young lady! We enjoyed ourselves so much that we decided to return for dinner, and we were absolutely delighted to be greeted by the same young lady at the door. What made it even more special was that she remembered us! She still had just as much energy and enthusiasm after what must have been a very long day. She was every bit as warm and welcoming as she had been earlier. What a wonderful person to have at the very beginning of the dining experience — she really does make you feel welcome and sets such a lovely tone for the entire visit. We had a thoroughly lovely time and will most certainly be back. Thank you to everyone for making our visits so enjoyable!
