  Descubrimos Bien Markt durante el free tour y nos llamó tanto la atención que ese mismo día decidimos volver para tomar unas cervezas. La idea era solo eso: relajarnos un rato y probar algo local. Pero las cervezas canadienses estaban tan ricas, con mucho sabor y muy fáciles de beber, que al final la visita se convirtió en algo más. Sin planearlo, terminamos comiendo por pura casualidad, y fue una sorpresa muy buena. Pedimos 6 ostras frescas, unas alitas de pato que fueron lo mejor de la experiencia —tiernas, jugosas y con un sabor espectacular—, un Poutine correcto que cumple sin destacar, y unos fish & chips que llegaron por error porque queríamos probar el salmón, pero aun así estaban muy buenos. La atención fue genial: amables, rápidos y con ese punto de simpatía que hace que te quedes a gusto sin pensarlo. El local está lleno de pantallas por todas partes, perfecto para ver deporte y darle un ambiente animado sin resultar agobiante. En resumen, fuimos solo a por unas cervezas y acabamos disfrutando una comida estupenda el mismo día que lo descubrimos. Volveríamos sin duda.

  Stopped in as the end of the day drink and snack. Service was excellent and the staff very accommodating. Ordered chicken wings and was pleasantly surprised. It had more of a bread-style coating instead of the regular coating you get with a lot of wings. Made the wings more crunchy but keep the flavouring and the moisture so not a dry wing. My rating reflects that refills on pop were not included. I understand that if we were only there for drinks, yes, charge for a refill but when food and wine is ordered, could have at least given one refill as a part of the overall price.

  Update: I was ill afterwards. An extraordinary interior doesn't match the food. I thought the oysters would be a safe choice. Not only were they tiny and tasted strange, I had a piece of shell caught in my throat the rest of the afternoon. My husband's duck wings were tough. They were definitely old, and reheated. The service was great. The purple light in the women's restroom was absurd. It was so dark that I couldn't floss the tough duck meat from my teeth. Beautiful restaurant, horrible, expensive lunch. I guess most people visit for the beer!

  Tofu curry bowl is awesome and comes with a lovely flatbread. The poutine with bacon and pulled pork is very enjoyable and the pork is excellent. The sticky toffee pudding was huge and absolutely delicious. If you're with a group of two or three, it's definitely enough to share. Bring an appetite, portions are generous, especially when it comes to dessert. The atmosphere was calm and generally very nice. Staff were wonderfully attentive and handled substitutions very well (the grapefruit in the cocktails and mocktails can be omitted very easily) The staff were friendly and genuine. They seemed very happy to be working there.

  Sarah was awesome! She made our dining experience fun and was delightful to chat with she even had some recommendations for us when we asked questions about what to do in Ottawa.
