  I have been a customer at this location for years, dating all the way back from 2014. And this location has really gone downhill. I am not sure if this is because it is under new management but the differences are astounding. Back between 2014 - 2022, there was a black woman who worked behind the counter, (I unfortunately never learned her name but she served me regularly each week with a smile) and she did her job exceptionally well. You knew when you came downtown that the location would be open. You knew you would leave full because she filled your subs with toppings, she often tried to upsell the cookies or offer a sub she thought was good. It was a very pleasant experience. Now, you can no longer come on weekends. If there is a summer festival or a movie, oh well, you are s.o.l. that is the first major difference. The next major difference is they have become extremely skimpy on the toppings. If you are paying almost $20 for a combo (sub, chips and pop) then you shouldn't have to keep telling them to put more than a pinch of a vegetable on the sandwich. It's extremely irritating to keep going a little more... a little more... everytime you want a topping. Last, Google says this place is open at 8 am. That would be a lie. I walked in this morning at 9:45, because Google said it was open and they weren't. I got told by a customer that they were closed and she was only inside to buy water. So now you can't even trust the hours of operation posted online. I am very sad to say that everything from the staff to the service to the experience at this location has changed. When the friendly black woman left this location lost its heart, it's dependability, everything that made this location great.

  They give away free subs when they close. At the end of the night they'll put it on the floor in front of the gate. Free for the taking help yourself.

  Whatever staff was working at 2:00pm, absolutely horrible customer service. First off, refused to honour an app order, stating it’s only online, when you can actually scan it, forcing us to order the food online. Knowing full well that this order was booked on the app, she then proceeded to ignore the online order and went to the 6 customers that came in after. Beyond ridiculous customer service. Sandwich was great! 0/5 if could.
