Went for some food after my shift, the server greeted me pretty quick but was being extremely short and rude when we were asking questions about the menu. When we asked about milkshake flavours, he just pointed at the screen, didn’t even look up, and just rolled his eyes. It said his name was Austin Kouassi on the receipt. He was swearing pretty loud to his coworkers while we were eating too. Food was great but guy was being rude for no reason.

Five Guys has consistently been one of my favorite places to grab a burger because the quality really stands out. Everything tastes fresh, from the beef to the vegetables, and it’s nice that every burger is made to order. I also appreciate the huge variety of free toppings, which makes it easy to customize your meal exactly how you like it. The fries are always a highlight—crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and the portions are incredibly generous. Even a regular order is usually enough to share.
The restaurant was clean, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and my food was prepared surprisingly quickly despite the restaurant being fairly busy. I also like being able to watch the burgers being cooked in the open kitchen, which gives the whole place a fresh and authentic feel. The complimentary peanuts while you wait are a nice touch and add to the overall experience.
While Five Guys is definitely more expensive than many fast-food restaurants, I think the higher price reflects the quality of the ingredients and the generous portions. Every visit has been consistent, and I’ve always left satisfied. If you’re looking for a fresh, customizable burger with excellent fries and reliable service, Five Guys is absolutely worth trying.
They served moldy fries.

I was placing an order from my family with multiple drinks, burgers, fries, and everything. I asked at the end if I could add one of their poutine dishes (there was a huge stack of them) so that I can put water in it for my dog. The guy refused to sell one to me. I told him I'm willing to pay, and he said, "No, I can't sell you just a dish." He could have even just sold me the dish at the regular poutine price, but he was just unhelpful and condescending.
I wasn't asking for a freebie. I was very clear I was willing to pay for it, but he was a jerk.
Something so simple turned complicated.
I told them I don’t want to eat there and walked out.
