I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at the Arby’s location on Rymal Road. This is now the second time I’ve visited this location and the debit terminal has not been working properly. At this point, it’s becoming ridiculous.
The first time was frustrating enough, but for the exact same issue to happen again on another visit is unacceptable. Paying by debit is one of the most basic and expected parts of running a fast-food restaurant. Customers shouldn’t have to arrive, order their food, and then find out that the payment terminal isn’t working.
What makes this even more frustrating is that it wastes the customer’s time and creates unnecessary inconvenience. Most people today expect to be able to simply tap their card or use their debit card and complete their purchase. When the terminal isn’t functioning, customers are left scrambling to figure out another way to pay — assuming they even have another payment method available.
This isn’t my first visit where I’ve experienced this problem, which makes me question whether the issue is actually being properly addressed. If the debit terminal has already caused problems once, it should be checked, repaired, or replaced so that customers aren’t repeatedly dealing with the same situation.
I like Arby’s and I want to be able to come in, order my food, and have a normal experience. But when I visit the Rymal Road location for the second time and the debit machine still isn’t working, it leaves a pretty poor impression of the management and overall operation of the restaurant.
I really hope someone takes this complaint seriously and gets the payment system properly fixed. Customers shouldn’t have to deal with the same basic problem over and over again. Once is an inconvenience. Twice is a pattern.
Please address this issue before it continues to frustrate more customers.
