  Christina is very sweet and directed me to Ann to help me when the Subway app was giving misinformation and wouldn't let me order a specific sub indicating the store was our of stock for one of the meats when it wasn't. Am was wonderful and made sure we got exactly what we needed and helped me find a way to put the order through online and still get the benefit of my points as well as redeeming my cash reward on my account. She bent over backwards to please us. Last month Christina made our subs and went out of her way as well to go above and beyond. They are so pleasant and do whatever they can to please the customer. We went out of our way to specifically come to the Essex location because of this. The place was nice and clean and the food was fresh and delicious! We will continue to go back. This location is by far the best out of all of Windsor Essex County!!!

  Very disappointing experience. The employee seemed confused by everything I asked for, even basic toppings like lettuce or onions. There was also a lot of cross-contamination between the meat and veggies, including trying to use a knife that had just cut a meat sandwich on my veggie sandwich. Staff need better training.

  Ordered through the app for supper lastnight. Had to wait 20 mins for our turn in line (our subs weren't made yet) perfect, cause I needed 3 more subs (that can't be ordered through the app). I asked if we can just order through the app again in order to get the buy 2 get one free. She said "no. You already have an app order". I said, "I get that, but you didn't make our subs yet." She said "no, can't do it" I said "can you only order through the app once a day?" She said "no you can order more than once, but I can't put it with this order". Ok, fine, she made our app order, then started on another app orders. (I had to wait 10 mins for the bread to cool which I'm fine with, then she made another app order then another one with the newly cooled off bread. THEN, she was going to help the people that were standing behind me. (Mind you, I'm still standing at the counter) I intercepted and reminded her that I'm still waiting for the rest of my order to be made. Our whole time (almost 40 mins) in the store, not once did she pick up her one, non-shellant, no rush pace, apologize to anyone for the very long wait or was personable to anyone. I don't understand why another person wouldn't be scheduled during the dinner rush on July 1. I'll never order on the app again. Had we not, we coulda just got subs at OG or Chochi's. Live and learn I guess. All I know if I go back to Essex Subway and that same employee is working, I'll turn around and go somewhere else. This was my first really really bad experience. I usually go in the morning where a super friendly older lady is working or on a weekend when one of the awesome high school students is taking my order!!
