    Absolutely love this store! They also give generous portions, have fresh ingredients, and my order is always spot on. The staff is friendly and efficient without ever feeling rushed. Easily one of the best Subway locations around. Highly recommend!

    The absolute worse Subway in Durham region. I have never experienced worse customer service than at this location. I only go here because it’s next to my house but every time I go they mess up my order and don’t use proper portions when doing mobile pickup. This is the 4th time I’ve received less protein than the required amount (sandwich full of veggies only) and I decided to politely complain and ask them to remake my sandwich. The lady behind the counter proceeds to say it wasn’t her who made it and the lady who made it already left. I understand but as the worker on shift, you are required to understand the complaint and remake the sandwich. Not just shift blame on someone else. I even opened the sandwich to show the worker that it’s clear that they put half of what they were supposed to and she still argues. Not even an apology! As a previous fast food employee myself apologizing and remaking the item is the simple solution but instead the employee chooses to argue. She even calls her manager who is even worse and doesn’t talk when the phone was handed to me. Fighting will get you no where, save your money and skip this awful waste of space. I have never made a complaint before but this was such an outrageous experience.

    My brother and sister had a very unpleasant experience tonight, and honestly this was one of the worst experiences we’ve had at a Subway location. The employee was rude and refused to serve Italian Herb and Cheese bread because they were ordering multiple sandwiches with the same bread and wanted to “save it” for other customers. If the bread was unavailable, that would have been understandable but the attitude and way the situation was handled were completely unprofessional. Customers should be treated with respect, especially when placing a simple order. Very disappointed with the lack of customer service at this location. brother and sister had a very unpleasant experience tonight, and honestly this was one of the worst experiences we’ve had at a Subway location.

    This is for the lady working here on May 15 2026 Friday evening, if a customer asks you for a specific bread, you don’t tell the customer “if you take all of it, what am I going to give the other customer”. I asked for 3 Italian Herb and cheese, she said she doesn’t have it. I see three in their rack, I asked for what the bread on the rack is, she pushes the rack back and tells me “we don’t have any” . Don’t think customers are stupid. Then I specifically asked for those three breads I wanted and she says “you asked for three, and if I give you all three what am I going to give the others” - second time. I am there to buy the three, I don’t know why she would not give me the order. This is basics of the basics, i just left and went to another subway. Never again! I was just so confused with her response! If I can give negative rating, this would be the place!

    Very disappointed with the level of service at the Salem & Rossland Subway location. This incident occurred on 5/15/2026 around 8:40 PM and involved a lady representative who was extremely disrespectful during our visit. We asked for Italian Herb & Cheese bread and were first told they did not have any available. However, we could clearly see the bread available behind the counter. After asking again, the employee refused to serve it to us because we requested 3 sandwiches and stated she needed to serve other customers. As paying customers, we should be able to order available items regardless of quantity. If the bread was actually unavailable, we would have completely understood. What was upsetting was the dishonesty and attitude throughout the interaction. This is honestly the first Subway location where we walked out with nothing due to poor customer service and disrespectful behaviour. We were shocked by how the situation was handled and unfortunately would not recommend the Salem & Rossland location based on this experience.
