  This might honestly be my second time ever writing a Google review, as I’m not too used to all this online review type of thing. I’m in my 60s, managed restaurants for years, and even owned my own business at one point, so I pay attention to how places are run. Back in the day, word of mouth was all you really needed, but after seeing how this location operates, I figured they deserved a proper review. This location impressed me. I visited on a Friday and the place was absolutely packed, which honestly made the experience even more impressive to watch. What stood out right away was how well the staff worked together. You can tell there’s a good mix of local and international staff here, and whoever is running this location has figured out how different cultures can effectively work together while building a hardworking and respectful team. Everyone seemed calm, organized, and genuinely happy to be there even during a very busy rush. The store was also spotless, which is rare for a restaurant that busy. I also saw an employee help a customer whose coupon wasn’t working on her phone. No hesitation, no attitude, they just helped her right away. You do not see that kind of patience and willingness to help very often anymore. You can tell the people working here care about what they do.

  I don’t usually leave reviews, but it was easy to do with the QR code rating thing on the counter, so I figured I would. This used to be our regular spot, but we stopped coming for a few months. A friend mentioned recently that things had improved, so we decided to give it another try. There’s a noticeable difference. The place is really clean, the staff are friendly and seem more engaged, and overall it just feels better than before. It’s hard to explain exactly what changed, but you can tell the staff are more engaged. The food’s better too. The toppings looked fresh, even the tomatoes were nicely laid out. The bread quality has definitely improved since the last time we were here. I could tell right away when I walked in and smelled the bread being baked. We’ll be coming back for sure and will be telling others about it too.

  The bread is always stale by mid day so getting your sub toasted turns it to stone. The workers don’t seem to understand how to properly assemble a sub and just cram all the meat, veg and sauce into the bun with the knife and roll it up leaving a mess for the customer when you open it. This is a regular occurrence and not just a one off. The store is fine and the service is just ok but that doesn’t mean anything when the subs are a stale mess all the time. We won’t be back anymore.
