  I had an extremely disappointing experience at the Subway on Charlotte Street in Sydney, NS, and I will not be returning. When I got home and opened my subs, I noticed there was little to no meat in either of them. The attached photos speak for themselves. I wasn’t looking for an argument. I simply went back to the store to ask whether they could either remake the subs or offer a refund. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, the staff immediately became defensive. They insisted they had put the meat in and even told me, in front of other customers, that they would check the security cameras because they were so certain I was wrong. The entire interaction made me feel like I was being accused of trying to scam the store or that I had somehow removed the meat myself. What should have been a simple customer service issue turned into nearly 20 minutes of unnecessary arguing. The manager’s attitude was especially disappointing. Rather than listening to my concern or trying to find a reasonable solution, both the manager and another employee spoke to each other in Hindi in a disrespectful tone throughout the interaction. As someone who also understands Hindi, I found it extremely unprofessional and disrespectful, particularly during a customer complaint. Good customer service isn’t about never making mistakes, it’s about how those mistakes are handled. If they had simply apologized and offered to remake the subs or provide a refund, this review would not exist. Instead, I left feeling embarrassed, disrespected, and treated as though I was dishonest. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this location to anyone. There are plenty of places that value their customers and know how to handle concerns professionally. Unfortunately, this Subway is not one of them.

  Great service, awesome atmosphere! Staff were super friendly and my sub was delicious.

  Service was okay at best the food was burnt and way to much salt on it left a gross after taste kinda like burnt fried chicken they need to be reinformed on quality control for sure or at least some of the employees
