  Great experience at this Subway location. Always clean, fresh and the staff are great. Hayley served us today and was very friendly.

  I was a customer on July 6 2026 at 11am. A man reached in front of me to refill his Tim Hortons paper coffee cup with coffee (Is this a thing at Subway?) while I was making mine. I told him I would be done shortly and I'd be out of his way. He flipped out, verbally assaulted me and threw his empty packets and wrappers at me and on my food. I looked around the corner and told staff to prepare to call 911. I felt unsafe as he got closer into my personal space with a hot coffee in his hand, I was ignored by staff. I asked the man several times to leave me alone, he said he wasn't going anywhere! I looked at staff a second time and said im not joking, he needs to be removed. Again, nothing. Staff said if we were too loud we'd all have to leave the store but it wasnt me being loud it was the lunatic in my face. After more verbal assault the man finally left the restaurant. I stayed to have lunch and when I left told staff I was very disappointed that the incident wasn't taken more seriously. The staff member who refused to even look around the corner to see what was happening, told me that she didnt know what was going on. Seriously. I asked for help 3 times, maybe she should have taken a moment to come see what was happening. I was told I could have called 911 myself if I needed it and defended him because he did the right thing by leaving the store 🙄.Not at any time during this experience did I feel safe in that restaurant, (until he finally left). I was refused any form of assistance after several requests and then staff treated me horribly when I told them they should have done more to rectify the issue .Because of this I will never return to this location. Way to make your customers feel safe and secure while at your establishment Cobequid Road Subway!! Maybe some re training is in order?

  I was witness to an extreme verbal assault while at this location. A woman was making a coffee and a man reached across in front of her to grab something. She politely asked him to wait until she was finished. The man proceeded to call her names (that i wont repeat here) and yelling at her and being extremely beligerent. I asked the man why he was being so rude. He continued to harass her and threw his garbage wrappers at her. All the while this was happening, the lady repeatedly asked the manager for help, to call 911. She repeatedly asked the man to leave her alone. The manager never left her post. She started yelling for everyone to calm down and threatened to kick everyone out, including me! She did absolutely nothing to help with the safety of this woman. I left to go outside and the lady came out after me. She had spoken to the manager and apparently the manager was very rude to her. I have her contact info if subway would like to reach out to her. I guess the lesson today is...if you want to assault somebody, take them to this Subway because they won't get involved or call the police. I won't be returning to this location as it does not appear like a safe place to visit.
