**Management should remind staff especially managers that handling allergen related concerns professionally is part of basic customer service**
Visited this Subway location May 13,2026 around 2:35pm & had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve had in a while especially from someone wearing a “Manager” badge (spelled JESIKA).
I ordered a Veggie Delight sub & when it came time for sauces, I mentioned clearly that I am allergic to eggs. I asked her a very simple question which hot sauce does not contain egg? Instead of helping her reply was “I don’t know.”
Told her that as an employee especially a manager, i would expect her to know the ingredients in the products being sold or at least help customers find the information if it involves allergies. Her exact attitude was basically “that’s not my responsibility, it’s your responsibility to check. She also said things like I can’t remember all of it because they keep changing it.
Let me make this clear if a customer tells you they have an allergy, the correct response is NOT “not my responsibility.” The correct response is “let me check for you.”
At that point I got frustrated & told her forget it, I didn’t want any more sauces. Then at checkout there was zero professionalism, no asking dine in or takeout, no proper interaction, nothing. So I asked her if she was seriously a manager or just wearing the badge because the entire interaction was handled horribly.
Only after that second confrontation did she suddenly say here’s the allergen book you can read it yourself. My issue is why was this not offered immediately when I first mentioned an allergy while ordering? Why wait until payment time after an argument starts?
If there is an allergen guide available, it should either be easily accessible to customers before ordering or staff should know enough to provide it immediately when someone mentions a food allergy.
This review is not because someone made a mistake. It’s because of the dismissive attitude, lack of accountability & complete lack of professionalism from someone claiming to be management.
Food allergies are serious & customers should not be made to feel like they are inconveniencing staff for asking basic ingredient questions. If someone asking about a food allergy is treated with this much dismissal & lack of care, it honestly makes you wonder how other customers with medical conditions, dietary restrictions or accessibility needs are being treated as well.
I’m not going to make assumptions about anyones intentions but the attitude & lack of willingness to help definitely did not feel welcoming or respectful as a customer.
Being a manager is not only about wearing the badge it’s about knowing the products, handling situations professionally & managing the store properly.

Have been to this location twice, ordered using the app and went to pick up in store. The lady’s who have made my sandwich were really nice and kind great customer service.
I’m a little disappointed as both times I have ordered there has been toppings missed and sauces that haven’t been put on even when they were on the receipt.
I don’t want to complain however it has happened both times I’ve ordered from this location.
