    I was planning to get subway and when I went in I was told there was no bread? Which makes absolutely no sense considering that the point of subway is to have the bread for subs?? Was pretty disappointed, will not be going to this location again.

    Enjoyed a delicious and affordable Rotisserie Chicken Bowl at the Subway located at 640 Sterling Lyon Parkway in Winnipeg! Highly friendly and capable staff member named Jimmy is a very positive person as he engages other customers as well. I like visiting this Subway location as the food and customer service is consistently good and I feel comfortable in this area of the city. Also of note it is well located to other retail stores as I generally do shopping prior to or after going to Subway for sandwiches and bowls! Thank you kindly

    Not once have they had my pre order ready on time, this time they told me to sit down and that’s it too bad that I have to wait. Ridiculous customer service.

    As someone who worked in customer service since the age of 16 (10+ years!), specifically in the restaurant industry from 17-27, I expected a lot more (meaning the bare minimum). I can excuse a bad day, or a not-so-great interaction, but one specific interaction with a worker landed poorly for me. FOOD: 5 stars. I'm hungry, it wasn't too busy so the food came out quick SERVICE: 3 stars. I'll elaborate below. ATMOSPHERE: 3 stars. I'd rate it higher, but the energy from someone working really brought down the mood. The store was clean, though, and the music wasn't too loud, so that's good. I don't know if they were having a bad day or if someone pissed them off or if they hate their job, I get it, but the least someone can do is try to give decent service. I was third in line, behind a couple, a mother and daughter, then me. The couple had a larger order (more than just a sub) so I knew that would take some time. The mother and daughter before me was quick. Both transactions were asked if inside or to go. I was not asked that (I wanted to dine inside). I tipped the minimum amount in hopes to somewhat boost morale, but I don't believe in tipping if I'm not receiving customized service such as a sit-down restaurant that grants me a server, a hair or nail salon, tattoo service, etc. But that's a different story. What really prompted me to write this review is after I received my to-go packed sub, I went to the side station to get some napkins. The dispenser was empty, I even reached inside in case it was jammed. I went back to the counter and politely asked if they had extra napkins, and before I could explain that the dispenser was empty, the worker told me the napkins are at the side and pointed to where I just came from. No smile, no waiting for me to finish speaking, nothing. Then when I said its empty, she turned around, grabbed them, then handed it over. Its hard to explain the kind of tone she had, the facial expressions on her face, but she just seemed done with the day. Which, again, I get, but I'm a new customer so what ever happened before me, shouldn't make me feel like it's my fault. I was kind during the whole ordering process, I was patient, I was polite, I smiled, said my please and thank yous, kept a normal distance from the counter, everything. I don't think people realize how big someone's energy can affect someone. Maybe I'm just an empath or whatever, but I was having a good day, and that one specific moment really bothered me. I know its one day, one moment, but I'd consider going to a different location LOL cuz what the hell man. If you read all of this, thank you. I hope that worker's day gets better, or she can find a career she actually enjoys so people who want to eat their lunches dont feel so bothersome.
