I visited Subway 228 tonight, and I was really impressed by the service. I was surprised to see one girl working alone during such a busy time, but she handled everything in such a nice, polite, and professional way. She quickly prepared four sandwiches for me, and I really appreciated her excellent service.
I also really like this Subway location because it is always super clean and is one of my favourite locations to visit. I was especially happy to see her change her meat gloves before touching the vegetables, which shows great attention to hygiene and food safety.
I often visit this location at night, and I really appreciate Jass’s hard work and dedication. Great job, Jass! Keep up the amazing work! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I highly recommend that, for your own health and to avoid being treated disrespectfully, you do not visit the Subway at 22838 Lougheed Hwy
On July 16 at 8:40 AM, I stopped by this location with my 9 year old daughter to grab her a sandwich. We walked in and waited about five minutes before anyone came to the counter. When an employee finally came over, there was no “Hello,” no “Good morning,” no greeting at all. She simply looked at us and said, “What do you need?”
I was honestly surprised. Subway is one of my favorite sandwich places, and I have been to many locations. I’ve never walked into a Subway first thing in the morning and been greeted with “What do you need?” instead of a simple hello.
I ordered a BMT on white bread. Without washing her hands after coming from the back, she just put on gloves and started cutting the bread.
While she was cutting it, she sneezed directly onto the bread.
I politely asked, “Could you please change the bread? I don’t want to use that one.”
Her response was, “I’m not sick.”
I replied, “I’m not saying you are sick. You literally sneezed on our bread.”
Instead of apologizing and replacing it, she gave us attitude and refused. She said she was not going to change the bread.
I was shocked. I honestly couldn’t believe what I was hearing.
When my daughter and I got back into the car, she looked at me and asked, “What was that about?” Even a 9 year old noticed how rude and unwelcoming the experience was.
This was, without question, the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced at a Subway. No greeting. No friendliness. No hand washing before preparing food. And the worst part was refusing to replace bread after sneezing directly on it.
All I asked was for a fresh piece of bread and a new pair of gloves. Instead, I was told no.
If this is how food is handled right in front of customers, I honestly don’t want to imagine what happens behind the scenes.
If you care about your health especially if you’re bringing your children, I strongly recommend avoiding this location. My daughter was genuinely surprised by the way we were treated.
The woman working on the morning of July 16 at approximately 8:40 AM clearly needs customer service training. My young daughter said, “Good morning,” and the only response she received was, “What do you need?”
I’m extremely disappointed. I hope Subway’s head office sends a secret shopper or investigates how customers are being treated at this location.
Stay away from Subway at 22838 Lougheed Hwy.
Stay away for your health.
Stay away.
