    I would like to share my recent experience at the Stony Plain Subway location so that other customers placing online orders can be aware and double-check their orders before leaving. I ordered a footlong sandwich online and paid extra for both double meat and avocado. When I arrived, I decided to dine in. Before eating, I opened the sandwich and checked the ingredients because I have previously had an issue where an extra item I paid for was missed. This time, the avocado I paid for was not in the sandwich. When I brought it to the staff's attention, the employee initially appeared to blame another staff member. While I was waiting, he repeatedly stated from behind the counter, in front of other customers, that the avocado was already in the sandwich and suggested it was at the bottom of the bread. I respectfully told him that it was not there and invited him to come and see for himself. Avocado is easy to identify, and I had checked the sandwich carefully because I knew this type of mistake had happened before. I had no reason to claim an item was missing if it had actually been included. Eventually, another staff member brought me a small cup of avocado with a spoon and asked me to add it myself. I accepted it, finished my meal, and left. My concern is not only that a paid ingredient was missed, but also how the situation was handled. When a customer raises a concern, the first response should not be to justify the mistake or suggest the customer is incorrect. A better approach would be to verify the issue and resolve it professionally. I do not believe these mistakes are intentional, but this is now the second time I have experienced problems with paid add-ons on an order from this location. Customers pay extra for specific ingredients and should receive exactly what they ordered. I encourage customers using online ordering at this location to carefully check their orders before leaving. I also hope management takes steps to improve attention to detail and customer service when concerns are raised. The staff are generally polite, but accuracy and accountability are important parts of customer service, especially when customers are paying extra for add-ons.

    I have been ordering the same sub for longer than I can remember. Last time I was here they shorted the meat in the sandwich. Thought oh well, honest mistake. Not going to complain about it Today it happened again exactly the same. Will have to find another location that gives you what you pay for.

    I visited this subway on May 12, 2026. I was very pleased with how the worker handled yourself. She was making a sub for the person in front of me. She was interrupted by having to take bread out of the oven. And before returning to making the subs she changed her gloves. It seemed like this restaurant takes food Safety very seriously.

    Visted April 9th @ 1240 pm I’m gonna tell you, the attitude of one of the workers is absolutely terrible. Argued with what kind of sub I wanted. I will not be back. To add to the plus the owner sitting in the corner did nothing about it, wonderful customer service! Good luck!
