  I've been coming to this location for many years now and although it used to be my favorite spot for a filling meal it has definitely gone downhill as of late. Many times there's proteins or vegetables not being available because they ran out or don't want to make more even when it's not busy. The food is really hit and miss, sometimes you'll get crunchy rice or fatty cold meats which is enough to make you want to stop eating. What bothers me most of all is the portion sizes, and it almost entirely depends on who is working at the time. Of the three women that work here one makes a decent sized burrito while the other two will likely give you less than half. A Mucho sized burrito used to be at least 2-3 times bigger when I first started coming here and you could bet on getting 2-3 decent sized scoops of protein. What I ordered today was a 'Mucho' burrito that ended up smaller than a regular. A tiny amount of rice topped with 2 vegetables and a few beans, and only one of the smallest scoops I've ever seen of 'premium meat' which you have to pay an additional $2 for. Even if one was to pay the $3 for double the protein, it wouldn't come close to a regular burrito portion. Too inconsistent and not worth the price.

  We went there for tacos, and it’s honestly shocking how far this place has gone downhill. What used to be great is now borderline inedible—the sauces taste like they’ve been watered down to nothing, and the sour cream was so runny it looked like milk. The service was just as bad. The woman behind the counter had the demeanor of a rattlesnake—tense, unfriendly. It felt like we were inconveniencing her just by being there. Really disappointing, because this place used to be good. Not anymore. I won’t be back.

  Kills me inside to write a bad review about my precious, most favourite food joint, Mucho Burrito- but this Spruce Grove location is seriously lacking and the reviews shown here are all valid and consistent. This review spans from the last couple years since I moved here. Overall my bad review stems on two things: 1. Food portions 2. Food quality/availability My main qualm is they are SO, SO frugal with the portions served. I don't know if this is a personnel issue or comes from the management above... but compared to other locations I've frequented, this issue stands out like a sore thumb. If I am paying $15 for a mucho burrito, I expect that thing to be the size of my newborn child (haha). I've had visits where they had very common food ingredients missing such as no mixed veggies, no chicken, and no lettuce. I'm sorry... but your location is right next to a grocery store- what's the excuse for lack of ingredients? The bang doesn't match the buck... I might have to try Bar Burrito (god help me!) now until this place figures itself out... which kills me as I love Mucho... sigh.
