I visited here to purchase a veggie sub. There were approximately six customers ahead of me, and while the restaurant was understandably busy, being busy is not an excuse for compromising basic food-handling standards.
What I witnessed was unacceptable. The employee preparing the food repeatedly used utensils that had come into contact with meat products and then used those same utensils on the vegetable ingredients. There appeared to be little regard for preventing cross-contamination between meat and vegetarian items.
When I raised my concern, instead of immediately correcting the issue, the employee began offering explanations and justifications for the practice. The problem was not a lack of explanation - it was the lack of proper separation between meat and non-meat ingredients. Customers should not have to debate food safety or dietary integrity while placing an order.
Many people choose vegetarian food for religious, ethical, health, or allergy-related reasons. They have every right to expect that vegetarian ingredients will be handled with appropriate care and kept separate from meat products.
As the cross-contamination continued and my concerns were not taken seriously, I decided to leave without ordering. This was one of the most disappointing experiences I have had at a Subway location. Proper food handling is not optional, and staff should be trained to understand and respect the dietary requirements of all customers.

Have never had any issues described by other reviewers… my sub has always been good. Haven’t had a bad experience. Good service and kind workers.

Despite the rush, she kept a smile on her face and made sure to apologize for the wait, which I truly appreciated.
Monali worked efficiently under pressure and never let the stress affect her kindness or customer service. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure each order was handled with care. It’s not easy to manage a full lineup alone, but she did an outstanding job.
