  I came into Subway on August 6 around 6:40 PM and ordered a gluten-free tuna sandwich. I had to politely ask for it to be remade because the employee used the same knife that had been used previously when spreading the tuna, which creates a risk of cross-contamination. She asked me if I wanted another gluten free like obviously? I have a gluten sensitivity, so I explained the issue and apologized for the inconvenience while thanking her for remaking it. Unfortunately, she did not acknowledge me or respond. When I was paying, I noticed my sandwich was being wrapped incorrectly. I politely asked if it could be kept wrapped with both the white assembly sheet and the outer logo paper, as that is how my sandwiches have always done it. I even mentioned that I had seen her male coworker wrap it correctly for the customer in front of me & he then stepped in and said that he had wrapped it wrong and that I had been “complaining the whole time.” These workers had a clear attitude and didn’t even talk during my payment. She didn’t tell me the price or ask if I wanted anything else. I found this interaction extremely unprofessional. I was not complaining or rude—I was simply asking for my order to be prepared safely due to my dietary sensitivity and wrapped correctly. I have lived in Edmonton my whole life and am familiar with Subway’s procedures. Customers should be treated with patience and respect, especially when they are making reasonable requests. Disgusting service every time I come I will never be back and would literally NEVER recommend to anyone.

  Not a great subway. Food was acceptable, but minimal. They are very very stingy. Ordered a salad. Very difficult to get a good salad experience when the veggies are whole. I shouldn’t need a knife with a salad. As well, the bowl was not even close to full. If I’m spending 13$ on a salad, the very least you could do is add enough lettuce to to make it so the bowl is at least full. The lady at the counter was rude, dismissive, and definitely doesn’t like her job.

  The service is non existent. Actually, very nonchalant and almost rude.
