  Visited the Subway at Sunridge Mall in Calgary—friendly staff, clean environment, and great BOGO deals on the app. The place was moderately busy during lunch, but service was prompt. However, the cashier initially had trouble with a Flipp coupon, which was resolved by another employee. Parking was easy, and the portions were generous for the price. A small suggestion: maybe train staff better on handling coupons to avoid confusion.

  I saw the hair on the food when the lady scooped that mix white bean thingy. She removed the hair and still put that contaminated in the bowl. Flabbergasted. Disgusting.

  I don’t know if this business is struggling but I asked for extra spinach a few times and the employee informed me that 0.5oz is standard and extra is 1oz of spinach. I’ll be honest, if we pulled out a scale neither time I asked would have amounted to 1oz. That aside though, when did subway start a rule about vegetable cutoff? I don’t see anywhere on the menu extra prices for “extra extra” spinach so I assumed it’s been the status quo. Unless something changed and I’m out of the loop this place feels really stingy and really awkward to ask for what you want.
