  I visited Mucho Burrito Shawnessy today after quite some time and was genuinely looking forward to having a good meal. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. When I first walked in, I noticed the employee working at the till rolling her eyes. When it was my turn to order, I ordered a burrito, and while she was preparing the wrap, I mentioned that I would also like a quesadilla. My intention was simply to let her know my full order ahead of time so everything could be prepared together. Instead, she rolled her eyes again, which I found to be extremely rude and unwelcoming. I understand that she was working alone and that the restaurant was busy, and I can appreciate that being in that situation can be stressful. However, that does not excuse making customers feel uncomfortable or as though their orders are an inconvenience. While I was paying, another customer walked in and I witnessed the same eye-rolling behaviour toward them as well. Unfortunately, the food itself was also disappointing. My burrito was cold, as it clearly had not been left on the grill long enough. Considering I spent nearly $40 on my meal, I expected both decent customer service and food that was properly prepared. I left feeling disappointed and uncomfortable rather than satisfied. I understand that everyone can have a difficult day, but as a paying customer, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect to be treated with basic courtesy and to receive a properly prepared meal. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I will not be returning to this location.

  The issue was they ran out of 4 major toppings while I waited in line and was not notified until I got to the front of the line! They could have at least put up a sign or let folks know. I then went to Mahogany, where it was not fresh AT all. Usually love Mucho but has not been good lately. I’m disappointed.

  Been coming here off and on over the years. Always good service and food. I appreciate how patient the employees are, the young woman today was great. Thanks guys!

  Wow, not only did I get friendly prompt customer service from Mari but she also changed her gloves in between serving another dish. Definitely coming back to this place.

  On July 10 around 4pm my wife and I went to this location. We wanted to redeem or free items from the mucho app. Both were just Mercado fries and her birthday free items of churro fries. The lady at the counter greeted us didn’t give us her name. But insisted that we had to make the order online to have it apply. Even though we have gotten free items from this location before, as well there was no mention of needing to redeem our free items only through online orders. After they Her attitude towards us changed, acting way more annoyed and irritated to make the two items for free. she went into the back to grab the food to put in the fryer , and came out with it just gripping it in her hands which was odd, and we had found it weird to then be asked what size of fries does it say we get for free, shouldn’t this already have been common knowledge for employees to know about their promotions. She ended up giving us the smallest amount of over cooked fries and 5 churro fries with no cinnamon sugar, no frosting glaze just drenched with chocolate sauce. All the chairs and decor are outdated and have holes/cracks in the leather making it feel dirty. All and all very disappointed and won’t be back again.
