Do not buy this plan. They never show up in an appointment date and will never take responsibility. I was told something different when i took plan at best buy and different in actual world.

They will charge you $113 "accidental damage" fee even if the "damage" has no bearing on the reason your phone doesn't work.
My husband's phone got stuck in a reboot loop, and would only stay on when charging. Obviously this is not a useful device, and we had been paying $15/month for two years for this protection plan, so decided to use it.
We went to Geek Squad at Best Buy and were told that they could do nothing with a 2-year-old phone, so we would have to call Geek Squad. We did this from the Best Buy parking lot.
We were told on the phone that we would have to mail my husband's phone in, and that because it was a Note 4, they probably wouldn't have it in stock and we would be emailed a Best Buy gift card for the value of the phone.
We weren't happy about my husband being without a phone for however long it would take to send his phone in and receive our compensation, so they offered to send us a loaner but we would have to put the value of this loaner phone on our credit card - yeah no thanks!
We decided that, because we thought we would be getting a gift card instead of a replacement phone, and we couldn't afford to be without a phone for who knows how long, we were just going to go back into Best Buy and get my husband a new phone, which we did.
What happened next is that we received a replacement phone in the mail...but now it's useless because we had bought a new one. That part I could even live with, but they charged us a $113 "accidental damage" fee because there was a small crack at the bottom of the screen. I knew this had nothing to do with the reboot issue, which was also confirmed by the CSR I spoke with when I called to dispute the charge.
After speaking with the original CSR and a supervisor, they told me there's nothing they can do about that charge - they will bill you for any physical damage, regardless of whether or not it caused the phone's claimed issue.
I am so livid right now - I thought this Protection Plan was a waste of money until we made this claim and I thought "well that's great, we've paid around $360 for this plan ($15/mth x 24 months), now it's actually going to pay off" - BOY WAS I WRONG!
I was told the Note 4 is now worth about $500 - so $360 + $113...it's actually worth about $27.
STEER CLEAR!!!!
