  I brought a new laptop to Geek Squad at Best Buy Leaside for a data transfer from my old machine. I was quoted about a day and a half; it took closer to three days. When I got the laptop back, the data had been moved but the machine wasn't set up to work the way my old one did, applications not pinned, settings not carried over, so only half the job was done. When I asked for help finishing the setup, I was told it wasn't possible unless I purchased a full-year tech support subscription. I was directed to remote support instead. My calls were dropped several times, and when I finally got through, I was again told nothing could be done without the annual subscription. On the last call, the background noise was so loud I could hear railway cars that we could barely hold a conversation. I paid for a service, received half of it, and spent hours trying to get the rest. I'd expect better from Best Buy and wouldn't recommend Geek Squad based on this experience.

  Geek Squad @ Laird + Leaside in Smart Center in East York are the most Incompetent team that I ever have seen. We had to cancel are membership. Why because during our TV installation they mounted it to high and could not connect back our Home Theatre System. Also could not take the time to program our Bell remote to turn on and function out TV with just one remote. Should have also showed us how to operate our new TV that we purchased from Best Buy. $ 249 plus being a member is such a waste. They simply don't care. Also showed up 3 hours late. Completely a Disaster! This is a Scam for incompitent customer service. Now I see why the ratings of the reviews are low, simply deplorable. I noticed all the geek squads across the GTA are Low Grade. Never again.!!!!

  Two months old iPhone got repaired, not replaced. When I took the iPhone with malfunction of display (no response to touch) to them, the lady said they did not have anything in stock, no display, no new iPhone, nothing. The only choice I can do was to allow them keep my iPhone and wait a week for part delivery and then they can repair. The other choice was that I can take the malfunctional iPhone back without warranty repair. The lady did call another location, the same, no display, no new iPhone, nothing. I do not understand, they are Apple authorized service, but they do not have anything for the newest model of iPhone 13 pro. I also do not understand my 2 month old iPhone is now a repaired product, feel bad

  They refused to send anyone to make a minor technical adjustment on my TV. Lousy service.
