  I am so grateful for the help I received recently from geek squad/staff at bestbuy. There was a billing error that was recently discovered. The staff at Best Buy took the time to review my geek squad account and figured out what happened. They gave me a folder, copies of my account details and circled the best number to call for geek squad. The agent who spoke to me on the phone was very patient and listened to my understanding of what had been explained to me at Best Buy. They handled everything and corrected the error. I was nervous the issue was going to take several calls and I’d have to go back to the store front, etc… But they didn’t put me through that. The error was clear and they just took accountability. It was over. I am very grateful. Very thankful. All I can say is, me and my family will make a point of continuing to support the Kanata location. We just got new phones and also added them to our geek squad account! I am so happy we did.

  Geek Squad is a complete waste of time and I'm saddened that I can't give them zero stars. You pay $16 a month for protection but they don't fix anything, they ship it off to be repaired. Next time I'll save the $192 a year and just take it to a local repair shop...it's probably cheaper and definitely more convenient. Also, ignore the bot response from "the owner" below. It leads to the generic "submit a question/complaint" section of the national website.

  I've tried calling them three times this week as they are not close to me. They have not answered once, poor management don't waste your time, they dont care about yours. Use less. Three days later i fond the time to go in. I bought a new laptop based on the staff saying i can transfer over my files no problem. I specified i am only concerned with one program and the staff said it wasn't a problem. Pick up my computer the next day and my file wasn't transferred. The staff is uneducated and promise things that dont happen, stay away.
