I used this drop box to send a package thinking it was secure and could be trusted. The package then disappeared, never to be seen again. Tracking never showed it as having been picked up - after many calls and emails with Fedex, they took zero responsibility for the loss and said because it never showed as scanned in there was nothing they could do and it wasn't their fault. Let this be a lesson - this box is NOT SAFE TO USE. And if your package disappears from it, Fedex will do absolutely nothing for you.

what a mysterious thing. couldn’t drop off my package because it just stays in the front compartment. no instructions. what was the point of shutting down penguin pickup?!
