  Today, September 24, 2026, I had a very disappointing experience at MAC Cosmetics in Sherway Gardens Mall. I went in because I wanted to exchange a product and was confused about the shade I usually purchase because MAC has changed its branding and packaging. I was simply trying to explain my situation and get some assistance. Unfortunately, both the manager and the employee seemed eager to dismiss me before I was even given the opportunity to properly explain myself. I found the attitude and overall interaction very uncomfortable and unwelcoming. I usually shop at Sephora, and I often dread entering this MAC location because of the attitude I have experienced and what has felt like prejudiced treatment. Customers should be given the opportunity to explain their concerns and ask questions without feeling dismissed. After this experience, I’ll be purchasing my MAC products through Sephora or online instead. If there are sales or promotions that are limited to online purchases, I’ll simply take advantage of those rather than returning to this location. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and looks into the customer service at this location. Everyone deserves to feel welcomed, respected, and treated fairly when shopping.

  Amazing customer service from Shay! She went above and beyond to help me correct an error made by a previous associate. Her professionalism, patience, and willingness to help were truly appreciated. I’m very grateful for her assistance and the care she showed throughout the process. Thank you, Shay!

  Visited on Sat, Aug 15 between 7pm - 8pm. My friend and I really wanted to get some lipsticks, but we were completely turned off by the employee who was filming herself trying on their products. I'm not sure if she was an influencer, but we found it very unprofessional. She was filming herself trying on a lipliner and lipstick.
