One-star service from both locations. I originally took my wife’s school calendar to The UPS Store in Stoughton to have it laminated. They told me it needed to be sent to the Madison location, then held onto it for an entire week without shipping it or providing any communication.
I finally picked it up and personally drove it to the Madison store. After specifically calling ahead and being told they could laminate it by the end of the day, I arrived and was rudely told they were too busy to do it.
Between the two locations, this simple request wasted more than a week of my time and required multiple trips. If you cannot provide a service, be honest upfront instead of making promises and sending customers from one location to another. Extremely disappointing customer service.

I had to argue with the man at the counter that the actual weight he scans the package in at actually matters and would result in overweight charges to my account. He threw a huge Thredup bag on the scale and scanned in all my packages so they all were down at 12 lbs. He argued that it only mattered what I purchased the label at (my 1 lb box with appropriate label). This is not correct. I told him I have had issues before and been charged back over $30 for incorrect weigh ins. Do not trust this advice. Weigh in and scan your own packages or make sure they do each one individually, correctly. He wasted more time arguing with me than it took him to do his job correctly. Ridiculous. This is why I have been choosing USPS whenever I can because UPS customer service is terrible.

Do you like paying 200% more than the regular rate? Then you'll love this UPS store.
I stopped in here with a package I needed to ship. I already had the padded mailer, just needed the store to tape it up and print a shipping label.
We get off to a bit of a rough start when the guy at the counter can't even properly tape the mailer closed (huge air gap under the tape so the package isn't actually sealed). I'm returning some jeans, so I want to make sure they're not damaged in transit and have to ask him to make sure it's sealed.
Then he looks at me with a straight face and tells me it's going to cost $40 to ship a 2.5 lb package to LA via UPS Ground. What?! I don't ship a ton of stuff, but I ship enough to know that the price was insane, and told the guy so. So he "looks up the USPS price," which he claims is even more expensive.
I got on the UPS website, plugged in the same weight, same dimensions, and same address, and see a price of $19.82. USPS was $20.51.
I get paying a little extra for the convenience of having a storefront, but twice the price seems more like a scam than convenience.

This UPS location no longer accepts USPS package dropoffs like they used to.

Customer Service is not what it was. Has the store changed hands?
