Brendon and the black guy (I forgot his name) make this place great. Both were super helpful and considerate of our needs...

There’s the best western and there’s the worst western. This is the latter.
Actually one of my worst hotel stays ever. I probably won’t stay at a best western again.
Overall dingy feel. It smells like someone had a field day with glade plug ins. I requested a new room because of the overpowering cheap floral smell, and the second room smells too - maybe not quite as bad. The hallway smells fine. Maybe it’s the in room cleaning supplies they use.

If I could give zero stars, I would.
My husband and I booked a King Suite with a Jacuzzi for ourselves and our 8-month-old baby. Shortly after booking, I received a call from the front desk and was told we could not stay in that room because our infant "needed his own bed." I explained that he sleeps in a pack-and-play and would not be using a hotel bed, but the employee refused to budge and insisted we book a room with two queen beds instead.
After that experience, my husband was somehow able to book the exact same suite online without any issue. Unfortunately, an emergency came up and we were unable to travel. When I called to cancel, I was told I would be charged both a cancellation fee and the full cost of the room. I then asked if the reservation could simply be moved to a later date, but was told I would still be charged because it would be treated as a cancellation.
What happened next was even more concerning. When my husband called the hotel, the same employee claimed that I had already checked in and that he was "looking directly at me." At that exact moment, I was standing in my living room over six hours away from the hotel. We were then told our card had already been charged and that no refund would be issued under any circumstances.
The entire experience was filled with conflicting information, questionable business practices, and extremely poor customer service. Instead of helping customers, it felt like staff were looking for reasons to charge fees and keep our money. Based on our experience, I would strongly recommend booking elsewhere.
Great location, right next to the river and convenient for getting around. The room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable.
The price was reasonable considering the location, making it a good value for the area. Overall, a comfortable and convenient place to stay.

This location is wonderful! Clean, cozy, and quiet location right on the Columbia River! Camas and Washougal are lovely little towns with a lot of activitiesaround the area. Everyone on staff at this Best Western Plus is super friendly and helpful, they went above and beyond! The breakfast is yummy and has something for the whole family! If you are ever visiting Southwest Washington this the place to stay I highly recommend it!
